Can Psions use their powers on constructs?

Which powers? The mind-affecting powers do not, but the other ones do unless they specifically say otherwise. Some powers are primarily designed to work on constructs, in fact.

Yes, but as always constructs are immune to the effects listed under the creature type entry. This means mind-affecting powers fail, as do those that drain stats, inflict poison, drain energy, that call for a Fortitude save and doesn't also affect objects, etc. Specific constructs may have immunities beyond those listed for the type. If a construct has spell resistance then by the standard transparency rules it applies vs. powers.

So yes, psionics may work, but you had better choose your powers appropriately.

Note: The living construct type is an exception and has special rules.

Can Psions use their powers on constructs?

If the power is "personal" . then no ...

otherwise .. as others have said ... watch the immunities ...

Some examples:

Affinity Field - No

Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (potentially harmless)

—Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).

Animal Affinity - No

Range: Personal
Target: You

Astral Traveller - Yes
(Not mind affecting, Will save, not Fort ...)

Attraction - No

Telepathy (Charm) [Mind-Affecting]

Hope that helps ..
