| Rageheart04-27-07, 03:05 PM | I am a bit confused about the phrasing of Crawling Tattoos in the SRD/XPB. Crawling tattoos resemble standard psionic tattoos, but their effects are often harmful rather than beneficial. Like a psionic tattoo, a crawling tattoo can be scribed only with a power of no higher than 3rd level that targets one or more creatures. Exceptions are the body adjustment power, which can be scribed even though it affects only the manifester, and telepathy (compulsion) powers, which cannot be scribed at all. As I see it there are 3 possible interpretations. Body Adjustment can not be made into a Crawling Tattoo. Body Adjustment CAN be made into a Crawling Tattoo, but when tapped the only valid target for it is the Manifester. Body Adjustment can be made into a Crawling Tattoo, and when tapped can be sent to an injured teammate. Which one is correct?? |

BZZap !!! Oh and Reflex save powers can be delivered as a touch attack ; a nice option. Can you PAO a crawling tattoo ?! or something else strange like that ? |
| Rageheart04-27-07, 04:27 PM | PAO? |
| InkBlot04-27-07, 06:20 PM | PAO stands for polymorph any object. The answer to the question is no. No, you can not cast polymorph any object on a crawling tattoo. Polymorph Any Object Transmutation Level: Sor/Wiz 8, Trickery 8 Components: V, S, M/DF Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels) Target: One creature, or one nonmagical object of up to 100 cu. ft./level Duration: See text Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (object); see text Spell Resistance: Yes (object) As you can see, polymorph any object can only be cast on a creature or nonmagical object. Since crawling tattoos are psionic, and therefore magic, items, you can not cast polymorph any object on them. |

| Dargmarin05-04-07, 11:06 PM | Anyone know if you can enance a crawling tattoo? Is there a limit too how much you can enance it (other than manifester level)? And one final question, does enhancing it cause the crafting of it to cost more? |
| sooperspook05-05-07, 12:03 AM | I can never use a Crawling Tattoo in game. Sipmly because everytime I see it, i want to start screaming ; "CRAAAAWWWLLLLIIINGG OOOFFFF MMYYY SKIINNNNN!..." I'm sad, I know. :P |

And one final question, does enhancing it cause the crafting of it to cost more? What do you mean by "enhance"? You mean, like, a +1 enhancement bonus, like on a weapon? |
