Has anyone ever tried this? There's a metal domain each for clerics and shamans with the spell repel metal or stone, and I think this is an unexplored area ripe for development. Perhaps there can be a magnetism mantle and power descriptor. Most possible powers would be psychokinetic, but to distinguish them from other similar existing powers they should work differently aside from the simple distinction of affecting only iron or steel. After all, there are superhumans in comic books that psionically manipulate magnetism.

Probably just a lower-level version of telekinesis, due to its limitation to metal objects. Repel metal could easily be converted to a psionic power.

Yeah, I think "Repel Metal" pretty much sums up Magnetism. Unless you want to bring induction to the game, then you have all sorts of fun electric things.

Personally, I'd enjoy seeing Gravity spells and powers as well.

I'm not much into helping with mechanics, but this (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/sb/sb20021011a) could easily be converted into a power.
