Would it still be balanced if I removed 2-3 requirement feats? It is such a feat heavy *****, that it kinds of locks you into one style of play. Why does my full plate wearing PsyWar care even a second about dodge let alone psionic dodge and even worse mobility because 20ft is a very highly mobile fighter. The feats that have to do with my weapon/attacking I understand but 3 barely useful defensive feats, Come On. There are so many better defensive feats anyway, dependent on your fighting style-say like focused shield, shield specilization, or heavy armor optim. and greater heavy armor optim. It all depends on what style of play but the PCM lacks that flexibility. I love the class, I played as it is and had a blast but this PC is a different kind of melee. Ok so I know I will only get 3 replies and everyone will be OMG!!!!!!! That would make the class BROK3N!!! But I still had to ask(making up a character for my friend)

Not if you simply remove the requirement feats. You need to make sure it's available no sooner. Try finding other feats to replace the prerequisite ones that better fit the combat style you're going for. Note that you may want to slightly alter the class. Specifically, combat reflexes and whirlwind seem to play up the "high mobility" aspect that you say you're not going for. Find something appropriate to replace it. Maybe greater heavy armor optimization as a bonus feat and the ability to force an opponent to reroll a crit confirmation? Or a bonus to AC during an opponent's confirmation roll? Maybe focused shield, shield specialization, and heavy armor optimization as the prereqs instead of dodge, psionic dodge, and mobility? Stand still might also really fit. Just remember one thing: part of the balance of a PrC can sometimes be that the prerequisite feats aren't particularly appealing.

Well, it's aimed at psychic warriors anyway, so I'd keep the overall number of feats similar. Also, keep in mind that if you touch dodge/psi-dodge/mobility you should also change some of the feats and abilities it grants, such as whirlwind attack.

Thanks I hadnt even thought about the changing later abilites. The BAB +5/3rd level powers is what really keeps the class restrictive since a human quailfies by 5th level feat-wise. I know the CO boards could figure out 10,000 ways to break it that us mere mortal level nerds could never imagine. So thanks for the advice Omni. Did you look at how I changed the daggerspell psion abilites thread? Any advice would be appreiated there, too.
