Lycanthromancer 04-29-08, 11:48 AM	It doesn't. CustServ says: You get another one. And that's it, unless you're willing to go houserules or 3rd party. Since you spent a feat on it, I say you get another one after a short time (perhaps a minute) in meditation.

A: The official response from Customer Service is "You can get another one." That is all that is written on the subject, as it wasn't addressed in Complete Psionics. Come up with a suitable houserule -- personally, I've tried a few different ones, but from now on will be using the simplest, inspired by the Tome of Magic: It reforms on its own after 24 hours. I must stress, though, this is a house rule -- no official method of getting a psicrystal back exists (though it's clear you do get another one), and no penalty exists when it dies (beyond not having your crystal around). And now I find out that they did come up with a determination? You know what? I'm not surprised. 50% of my questions to CustServ didn't get anything resembling a satisfactory answer, so this is par for the course. :censored: CustServ... only service is lip service... Are ya'll sure? You do actually get one (even though they give no hints as to how this is done)?

The worst example of this is the Sage's ruling on Extra Spell (adding a limit to "spells on your class list" for no apparent reason), but he's done it before with psionics. Check out the official FAQ on Bladewind and Psychic Strike -- apparently, "Each fragment functions identically to the soulknife’s regular mind blade" means that each blade functions differently.

Nope, with everywhere I meant books, because I couldn't find the info I needed I figured I'd post here. Hadn't checked stickies yet, as I just started using this forum, had an account but actually didn't use it.

Completely off topic here, but I totally agree with the Sage's ruling on this feat. Nothing in the feat specifies that it alters the general rule that a player cannot cast a spell that is not on his spell list. Expanded Knowledge, as an example, specifically states that you can choose a power from locations that you normally do not have access to.
