a generous DM might rule that oak body or iron body have the effect of making you immune to death effects, but that would be really generous.

greater metamorphosis can be used to change your type to one that is immune to death effects.

of course, i may be missing something from complete psionic. i haven't now, nor am i likely in the future, felt that CPsi was worth my money.

03-02-07, 02:29 PM Stygian ward on page 102 of Complete Psionics. It's a 4th level psychometabolic power on the Life mantle. It states "as death ward (PH 217)" as it's description.
