I am considering using this class for my Healer Egoist. My question is regarding the classes missing information. Normally when a class is presented it lists your HD, then your skill points and class skills, then class features.

Normally your class features starts with Weapon and Armor proficiencies. Then goes on to describe spells or powers per level then the actual abilities provided by the class. In the case of the Diamond Dragon the Weapon and Armor proficiencies is missing.

My thoughts are to make it similar to the entry from the Elocator since it is a martial class in most ways.

What are your thoughts on this?

My thoughts?

If it doesn't list anything, assume you get nothing.

What book is this class in? Try seeing if WotC released any errata for it at the following link:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/er/20060531a

Odds are they didn't, though. As Kayne West would say: WotC doesn't care about psionic people!

Sorry I should have stated that this Prestige Class is in Dragon Magic. To answer your post no there is no Errata for this book as of yet. I would assume they have had most of their people and energies directed to wards the new 4th Edition, since they hope this will infuse the company with new money.

Normally the class information tells you if you gain no weapon or armor proficiencies from the class. Since it does not even have an entry for that I was trying to provide something in the middle since the class is for Psions, Wilders, and Psychic Warriors.

Oh, I see.

Well, I have to agree with your OP. I have wet to see a class which does not have that section. Odds are someone at WotC messed up with a copy & paste.

Is it really that hard to proofread these books? Jeez. Get two people to read them or something.

See page 31 of Dragon Magic.

Hit dice: d8 (printed above table 2-3: The Diamond Dragon).

Skill points: 2 + Int modifier per level. Class skills: Autohypnosis, Balance, Climb, Concentration, Craft, Jump, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (psionics), Profession, Psicraft, Ride, Search, Swim, Use Psionic Device. (bottom of table 2-3).

Weapons/Armor: None listed, so you gain neither (but don't loose any proficiencies you already have).

Thanks Anti I saw all that other information, but as I said the part that usually goes Weapon and Armor Proficiencies is missing. It does not say none it is just not there. For a class designed to make a more combative Psion I find that odd. Also in taking on Dragon qualities, you would assume some type of defensive bonus or ability since other than breath weapons what are they known most for? Dragon Hide anyone?

If I remember my own rememberances correctly ...

The class is a little bit weak sauce, but, But, if you don't mind losing 2ML and 4 powers, from a Psion advancement, and in return get what the class gives, well, OK. That's just you.
Getting the Swift Action attack, and having it "augment" better than Bolt or Call Weaponry, is the best part of the class.
It hasn't been optimized, and didn't attract much attention, so I'd suggest taking a gander at the Psion build guide, finding a yummy build, substituting in Diamond Dragon 10, with the slight winnowing of your power selection.

Don't worry, be happy now.
You have pretty good 9th level -fester power.

Psion Build Guide? Is that a publication or on the forums?

Every Build Guide is forum born, as wotc would never show anyone how to break their own material.

Hmmmm. Food for thought.
