Elemental Envoy Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-27-07, 05:51 PM I tacked this question on to the end of the manifester level thread but it hasn't been answered, so here I go again.

First I will provide the build. One level of ardent, followed by five levels of psion. The level three feat is Practiced Manifester, making my manifester level 5psion/5ardent. If at sixth level, with the bonus feat from psion, I take psicrystal affinity and elemental envoy, what would be the manifester level for purposes of the elemental envoy advancement?

I read the sticky but am still confused. It says you add your psionic manifester levels together for the psicrystal, and the elemental envoy says that it advances like a psicrystal. The Practiced Manifester says that it raises your manifester level, not for power points or powers known, but just for manifester level dependent reasons. Does this include the advancement of the psicrystal and elemental envoy?

I guess in a nutshell, I am wondering if the elemental envoy will be level 6, or level 10. Any help at all will be appreciated.

Psicrystals and Elemental Envoys do not use your manifester levels. They use your class levels. Your class level and your manifester levels are two very different things.

06-28-07, 01:37 AM Thank you very much. I think I found out where my confusion was coming from, on the table for their advancement, it is labeled as manifester level instead of class level. I looked closer and saw that everywhere else it says class level. I guess that is what I get for trying to piece this together at 3 am. Once again, thank you.
