zuul88 03-23-07, 04:48 AM	If you multi-class 2fighter/1slayer/1uncanny trickster does your psion power progression continue until it is maxed out at 20th lvl or do you get burned for the last 4 lvls of psion progression because you are now a epic character. Stupid question I know but a bunch of 2nd editio gods who think books are over-rated are still newbies when it comes to this new system. Thanks Nathan
crizhII 03-23-07, 06:33 AM	I'm pretty sure that it goes off class level. If I'm wrong Tempest will correct me momentarily. So at character level 24 you will be class level 20 in your primary manifesting class and that is where you will stop gaining PP's and new powers. It should be noted that your're manifester level does not stop accruing at this point. Technically you will continue to gain bonus PP's and the number of PP's you can spend on a single power will continue to increase.
Witch 03-23-07, 07:05 AM	I think more explanation as to your multiclassing is in order. A psion 16/non-manifesting advancing classes 4 can still advance 4 levels as a psion, which does not trigger the epic psion progression. You can still acquire new power points and powers known in those levels. However, you are an epic character and hence use epic feats, epic AB and epic saves.

zuul88 03-28-07, 03:40 AM	Reading the 16 psion/4 non-manifesting class thing made me think of this.......probably same answer though. just checking. 2 fighter/5 psion/3 uncanny trickster/10 caradhaker(duegar illithid slayer.) My manifesting class is 16 but my psion levels counts as 7 after the 2 from uncanny trickster. What happens then?? Do I have to play the psion levels all the way through or is there any epic slayer progression someone has come up with? I am still a long way from this "problem" but I was wondering since I do not really know what I am doing in 3.5. Thanks for any information. Respect Nathan

Although I think they did the system a terrible injustice, Neverwinter Nights also happened to have an excellent way of visualizing epic transitions for new players. At character level 21, everyone got an "Epic Character" pseudofeat for free which let them take epic feats with their character levels. However, it wasn't until they hit level 21 (or 11, in the case of PrCs) in any single specific class that they got an "Epic [ClassName]" feat, which enabled epic progression of everything for that class.

(I forget the prerequisites, however.) If you're asking about an epic progression, the Epic Insights compilation (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ei/20030810a) gives it full manifesting (though you get no PP as normal) and a bonus feat at every two levels, starting at 11th (the first epic level). It's one of the two caster/manifester PrCs I know that gets epic feats that fast; the only other one is Hathran (PGtF).
zuul88 03-31-07, 01:36 AM	Thank You for the link. Why does one answer always lead me to another question? It say that the Epic Slayer continues to gain manifester levels but not powers. If I have a manifest level of 20(praticised manifester) but I am only manifester level 16 psion. Does The Slayers Progression finish out my psion to 20th or do I need to take 4 levels of psion to get all my 9th level powers. Thank in advance for all the helpful advice. Respect Nathan
Tempest Stormwind 03-31-07, 01:42 AM	Like all epic progressions, you'd continue until you hit ML 20 in psion, and then apply the epic rules from the class. You don't manifest slayer powers, you manifest psion powers.
