Eurudite like Psychic warrior. [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-02-07, 10:21 AM I hope it is not complete heresy to come up with a variation of the psychic warrior, because it is a very well balanced class. But what about an Eurudite like Psychic warrior. What do you guys think about that? I was thinking maybe 8 unique powers per day because the Eurudite has 11 and that is 2 power levels higher than the highest that a 20th level Eurudite could Manifest. It might be 7 or 9 because the 11 is odd. I also think that it would have something close to what a psychic warrior gets in the way of powers because the Eurudite of equal int of a psion gets only a few more automatic powers. So maybe 1 + wisdom bonus at first level and 1 more power every level afterwards. It can learn anything from the psychic warrior power list. So would this be balanced and if not could it be balanced?

Here it is the learned warrior

How about this. Keep everything else the same except that at first level gains a psicrystal.

at first level he gains 1 power + 1 power per wisdom modifier. at all other levels he gains 1 power. He can learn any power off of the psychic warrior list.

I'd decrease the number of unique powers a day though. The psychic warrior has a little more than half the known powers of a psion. I'd want maybe 6 per day total, but I have a feeling that that would be just too limited, especially at low levels.

I don't know about the little formula you have but does this feel wrong to anybody at all? If it does not then give some more suggestions and I will use the best suggestions I see in another post.

04-17-07, 11:26 AM first off I would like to have my question answered and second my DM(s) either hate psionics or they just don't want to let me try it out to play test it so any suggestions? could you guys playtest it and tell me results of your playtest.
