06-10-07, 08:49 PM Just looking for a little clarification on the following. If you have multiple psionic foci (e.g. Psicrystal Containment), can you expend both on a single power to gain the effects of multiple feats - Empowered Maximized Power, for example?

If so, what about power boosting feats that aren't classified as metapsionic - Psionic Endowment, for example. Is it possible to use the same feat more than once on a power to double the effect. e.g. use two psionic foci to gain a +4 DC boost instead of the usual +2?

06-11-07, 03:45 AM The reason you can't expend focus for both Psionic Endowment and Greater Psionic Endowment is that GPE doesn't do anything on it's own. GPE only enhances Psionic Endowment. You're already using both feats just by expending focus for Psionic Endowment.

GREATER PSIONIC ENDOWMENT [PSIONIC]
You can use meditation to focus your powers.
Prerequisite: Psionic Endowment.
Benefit: When you use the Psionic Endowment feat, you add +2 to the save DC of a power you manifest instead of +1.

While untyped bonuses normally stack with other untyped bonuses, untyped bonuses from the same source do not stack. Since both are from Psionic Endowment, you get no additional benefit.

So you could expend 2 psionic focus to power Psionic Endowment twice. But you wouldn't get any extra benefit. It would be just like if you had only expended focus for Psionic Endowment once.
