Hi,

I would like to have an info on the Power Fiery Discorporation. It require an open flame to be able to do it. So here are some question about the open flame.

1) What is the definition of open flame for the requirement of this power ?

2) Is a Sunrod considered an open flame for the purpose of using that power ?

3) Is the fire shed by a flaming sword consider an open flame for the purpose of using that power ?

4) I play an Azer and technically when someone touch me I do 1 point of fire damage when I'm touched do I count as an open flame for using that power on myself ?

Thanks in advance.

1) I've always believed it to be the flame generated by a torch, or campfire, or sometimes the flame in a lantern, depending on the type of lantern.
2) A sunrod does not produce flame, therefore, it does not count.
3) I do not believe so, but talk to your DM.
4) Unless youir body is actually on fire, and not just hot enough to deal the damage, you don't count. Not that you could use your own body anyway.
