| KernOfGort11-15-07, 12:36 PM | Hi Folks, I have a question about one of the psionic powers, My character has the Graft Weapon power, and in the description, it says: "The grafted weapon is considered both a standard weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of effects that distinguish between either weapon type..." Now, I know that claws of the beast creates natural weapons, and when using the power, you get 2 attacks with no penalty (without the -2 to attack for two-weapons). My 2 part question is: 1 - Can you manifest it twice to have a weapon grafted on each hand? 2 - If you can graft 2 weapons, would these (seemingly) natural weapons follow the same rules as claws of the beast (letting you attack without the normal -2 to attack or more for attacking with 2 weapons)? Thanks for any feedback folks!! |

You can graft as many weapons as you have grasping limbs. Remember that when you're creating a tauric aquatic elf/dire octopus psychic warrior to menace your PCs. 2) Note the specific language of the power. What it means is that you can use powers like truevenom and spells like magic fang to enhance your attacks with the grafted weapon. In terms of technique, using a grafted weapon is the same as using a non-grafted one. You just need to be careful not to try to pet a puppy with the hand that is now a battleaxe. |

By the wording of the power, there's nothing to stop you grafting more than one weapon to the same limb. It would be a bit of a waste, since you still couldn't attack with more than one weapon at once, but it's not technically impossible. One very nice thing about graft weapon is that you can use it to repair damaged weapons without having to spend excess time or gold. |

Thanks for any feedback folks!! 1 - Sure, but you would lose the use of two hands. 2 - Just grafting a weapon does not (in itself) give you a natural weapon. However, if you grafted one weapon on each hand and then manifested Claws of the Beast, you would indeed get two "claw" attacks each of which does grafted weapon damage instead of regular claw damage (as described in the Graft Weapon power description). |
