Help with a game idea [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-24-07, 03:10 PM I've got a few friends who asked me to run a game, and between the work and the fact that it's been a while since I ran one, I'm looking for a few suggestions on a very derivative idea...

The villian of this tale will probably be a LE dromite, kicked out of his hive for incompetence, who interprets this as a grand mission to subjugate all filthy inferior races. I'm thinking about making him a wilder so that he can manifest astral construct as a companion... or he has as his companion a CN warforged scout (the race, not the class). If not a wilder for the dromite, maybe an artificer. If I go with a warforged scout, maybe he could be the wilder.

Any suggests for the pair, whether builds or whatnot are welcome.

But he's not so much a pyrokineticist. That line is from the time he's in a giant robot and trashing things. I believe he was laughing maniacally and ordering the other invaders in the robot to turn knobs and pull levels.

He usually has lots of time to plan, which he's not good at, and access to lots of equipment which should tip things in his favor, which it never does. I figure, gamewise, this could be thanks to an inordinately low wisdom score. And a lot of times he's just plain stupid, which could mean poor intelligence... which might still work on a wilder. Artificer 3 would allow him to make his backpack of spiderclimb that he's got.

If you mimic GIR using the astral construct power, a lot of his technology could be psionic abilities. If GIR is, on the other hand, not simply a manifestation, he could be a small warforged, which could be the better solution. He's just so random... I can't really think of anything that would cover everything he does...
