Help with Feat choice [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-30-08, 03:29 PM So I am building a ECL 10 Nomad 5 / ThrallHerd 5 and I am having trouble deciding his last feat. I have got pretty much all that I want to build the character with but I had an extra "left over" feat to use.

Any ideas on a good "extra" feat?

Psionic Talent - Never hurts to have more power points
Practiced Manifester - offset Thrallherd levels.

04-30-08, 04:11 PM Expanded Knowledge is a good option, especially if you select off another class list or choose one that doesn't fit the mode of a nomad or a thrallherd. Having a power that an opponent simply wasn't expecting often settles an encounter.

04-30-08, 04:55 PM i currently have psionic meditation, psionic endowment, greater psionic endowment, expanded knowledge(energy wall), inquisitor(required for thrallherd), and quicken power.

now I know expanded knowledge might be stupid but I wanted more then just 4 powers in that level and still keep two lvl 5 powers.

04-30-08, 05:02 PM Practiced Manifester is basically Practiced Caster, its in Complete Psionic. I don't think I can say much more than that without violating the CoC.

04-30-08, 05:04 PM ok, a lot of the feats are basicly copies of other arcane feats so I had a feeling, but just making sure.

just a thought, u sure it's in Complete Psionic? I looked at the SRD and couldnt find the feat. is Complete Psionics apart of the SRD?

04-30-08, 05:25 PM Complete Psionics isn't part of the SRD. (It is in fact a very horrible book with barely anything worthwhile in it.)

04-30-08, 11:01 PM Only the Open Content from the XPH is in the SRD. Complete Psionic, just like every other "Complete" book, is not in the SRD.

Actually that's a good point, from your listed feats you don't have it, yet you are a nomad, which doesn't have access to mindlink.
