I wanted to make sure I'm doing things right for my game (because I think my DM is getting annoyed). Also my DM allowed me to take Elemental Body from Spell Compendium as a power of the same level (6th or 7th) which allows me to have earth elemental form with +3 natural armor.

Level 14 Egoist with Overchannel & Extended Duration Metapsionics

inertial armor for Max + Extend(1level overchannel) = 10 armor AC lasts 28hrs
+2 Buckler = 4 shield AC
16 Dex = 3 Dex AC
Ring of Protection +3 = 3 Deflection AC
Earth Elemental Body + Extend = 3 Natural AC for 28 hrs
Normal starting AC = 10

Total 33AC all the time for max 30pp and no armor penalty or movement penalty
Also because Inertial armor is force based it works on touch AC as well.

What do you think?

A couple things:

+2 buckler = +3 AC, not +4, so that brings you down to 32.

Next, Inertial Armor doesn't work against touch attacks.

It works against Incorporeal Touch Attacks - very, very different things.

Normal touch attacks touch you just fine and are unaffected by Inertial Armor. so your Touch AC is 16.

And level 14, a 32 AC is good, but not overwhelmingly great. My 6th level ardent has an AC of 23 at the moment (+7 armor (+1 banded), +4 shield (force screen), +2 Dex). 9 more AC in 8 levels will be easy... especially when I still have natural, deflection, insight, and other bonuses to play with.

Well your addition is correct, but as for what I think... Not including bonus pp from high INT. it consumes over 1/6 of your total power points for the day.

a 33 at level 14 isn't extremely neccessary, considering you are a caster, and for tanks at that level they don't need that kinda protection.

Umm fighter 14, let's say; 10+ 10-11 (+2-3 adamatine full plate) +6-7(+3-4 tower shield) and misc bonus like ring of NA or Deflection two each possibly(4) so total is between 30 and 32 AC and thats for a tank'er.

On another note I do like 24 hour bonus to AC they're the best!

Unfortunatly we have no actual tanks in our group so I've stepped up to the plate. I'm kinda a jack of all trades type of psion (healing, dmg, tank, face) so its fun. We have a druid, ranger, and arcane trickster. For the most part our ranger (bow) and arcane trickster are the damage dealers though. Druid plays healer and I tank, usually with my psychic bow (if i can 5ft step) or spells if i can't.

Yeah, Inertial Armor can scare the non-versed DM's. It is a great power but remember that Greater Mage Armor, from the spell compendium lvl 3 wiz spell. Gives +6 AC, plus a handy Shield spell adds another +4. Now, add that to an abjurant champion (Complete Mage) & Ardent Savant (Complete Arcana) you can make a spell caster who has a much higher AC with Force Spells.

A heavy armor type can achieve a much higher AC easier but of course will suffer from armor check penalties & the non-grooviness of always having "pajama armor" ready.

Could be worse, could follow the advice given in Complete Mage for adaptation and use a psionic flavored Abjurant Champion. Then at level 20 you're looking at something like +20 armor bonus (+4 base inertial armor + 11 from +3 overchannel augmentation to ML 23rd + 5 AC levels) then as a swift action force screen for another +14 shield bonus (+4 base force screen + 5 from +1 overchannel augmentation to ML 21st + 5 from AC) and that's AC 44 with no gear and not counting dex or anything else inherent. Now get into deflection, NA, etc from gear and other prep work... Only thing really missing is as far as I know, no psionic equivelent to Alter Self exists, so no using it to get anywhere from 6 to 18 inherent NA. Well unless you find a way to get arcane spells in there without a ML hit. :P

Scale down accordingly for lower levels but is quite high throughout.
