How do manyshot and fell shot interact, again? (couldn't find it in the FAQ) [Archive] - Wizards Community

So, if I use manyshot and fell shot, I only make one (heavily penalized) attack roll. Is that resolved as a single ranged touch attack? Or do you make a single attack roll, but check it against both the target's regular AC and touch AC, and if you beat the target's touch AC but not the target's regular AC, one of the arrows hits and the others miss?

Manyshot is a single ranged attack roll, and fell shot allows you to make a ranged attack roll as a ranged touch attack. You make a single ranged touch attack for both (or more) arrows.

... and what about Greater Manyshot?:D
(Logically, that would be a no, I guess.)

No, since Greater Manyshot has multiple attack rolls (but deals precision damage multiple times).

Fell Shot (and the arcane trick used with Manyshot, True Strike) works on a single attack roll. Manyshot lets you roll multiple arrow damage rolls off of a single attack roll.

For the record, before someone asks, using Psionic Shot with this will deal damage with only one of the arrows for the same reason Greater Manyshot doesn't work with Fell Shot.
