The Psi/Blade Master Prerequisites: BAB: +3 Feats: Practiced manifester and psionic body Skills: Concentration(8),knowledge[psionics](8) and Psicraft(8) Special: Manifester 3rd level+, and Mind blade with psychic weapon: +1d8 Description: The Psi/Blade Master is a psychic who's mental might is able to manifest both a mind blade, and traditional psionic powers, and blends them together into a harmonious whole. The powers of a psion, psychic warrior or other manifesting class grants great flexability and the mind blade is an invaluable weapon-one of whom the Psi/Blade Master cannot be disarmed of! In working to improve both sorts of psionic power, the Psi/Blade Master achieves a mastery of psychic combat that few being can truely match. Tempest Stormwind 10-27-07, 07:14 PM	The Untapped Potential variant rules on soulknives essentially turn *every* manifesting PrC ever published into a soulknife-advancing PrC, and if you have both it advances both.

angellis_ater 10-28-07, 12:33 PM	My suggestion for a Gish would be either one level of Psion (Egoist) or Psychic Warrior and then picking up Illithid Slayer. Excellent BAB, good manifesting, good abilities and soulknifing!

Excellent BAB, good manifesting, good abilities and soulknifing! I just made a build doing exactly this. It worked out fairly well. A little weak at low levels, but becoming much better as you approach 20. Kaleran, if you do pick up Untapped Potential, check out the Enlightened Protector. It works similar to Illithid Slayer and is thematically appropriate for a soulknife gish.

Remember;Just because it says 'Illithid Slayer' don't mean that an Illithid can't take it up as a prestige class. After all,it's a poorly kept secret that Illithid Slayer's abilities lend themselves to hunting any psionic being.Any. So beware,take care! Thank you, Kaleran1277
