| The_Shaman03-05-08, 01:23 PM | Fairly good, imo. Not brokenly overpowered, but very good at what it does. |
| Eerongal03-05-08, 01:28 PM | The SRD version slayer is a bit better IMO. (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/prestigeClasses/slayer.htm) |
| InkBlot03-05-08, 01:52 PM | The generic Slayer PrC is certainly more powerful, but more powerful isn't the same thing as better. Some people consider it overpowered. Personally, I would never use the generic Slayer. It has abilities which don't make any sense outside of the context of hunting Illithids. It's great as a base to build other prestige classes, which focus on slaying other things. I once made a Golem Slayer prestige class out of it for a Soulknife character (with mindblade progression), but that character's player decided to go Soulbow instead. |
