Illithid Slayer: Good or Bad? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Personally, I would never use the generic Slayer. It has abilities which don't make any sense outside of the context of hunting Illithids. It's great as a base to build other prestige classes, which focus on slaying other things. I once made a Golem Slayer prestige class out of it for a Soulknife character (with mindblade progression), but that character's player decided to go Soulbow instead.

03-07-08, 10:20 PM I played an Illumian psychic with levels in Githyanki Slayer.

Brain Nausea makes sense when you're dealing with Illithids in the context of shaky diplomacy.
