Do they work ok? I see they are more towards multiclass types and maybe even towards clerical with the turning undead .

I was wondering if their glyphs were worth the effort for a Psion.

You might want to rename this thread as "My psionics questions thread," and start asking your psionics-related stuff here, rather than continually making new ones. Or, use your first thread, and post there.

We'll be happy to help.

From what I remember, they don't work too well with psionics unless you rehash the Vancian sigils into psionic ones. In addition, multiclassing isn't generally the best option for spellcasters or manifesters unless you're going for a specific build (such as the illithid slayer PrC).

Whether Illumians are better off multiclassing depends on how you read the phrase "On attaining second level in any class". The official reading appears to be "At second level, regardless of what classes the character may have taken", which makes multiclassing less attractive.

I had actually been working on a seventh Psionics-oriented power sigil. I had a relatively good selection of power words for it, but I gave up (and lost track of my previous work) because I couldn't think of a good benefit for the base sigil to grant. (I was considering +2 base PP, but that may have been too powerful for characters without a psionic class, while it may not have been powerful enough for characters that did have a psionic class.)

Use Psionic Device as a class skill?

Actually, +1 ML for powers and psi-like abilities (to a limit of your HD) might work. (Unfortunately, that's a Psionic X of one of the other sigils... Preferably the associated Words would break the symmetry.)
