Can i use them together? Both needs concentration, but i don't know if i can concentrate to 2 power at the same time.

What do you think?

thanks.

You could always give your concentration to your Schism via http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/coOptConcentration.htm

Theres a way to give concentration to your Psicrystal too, but I can't remember what it is. Maybe someone'll post it (I hope they do for the sake of my memory)

Solicit Psicrystal. Or, just have your schism use co-opt concentration.

Either way will work.

I am a fan of Schism + Co-opt Concentration to use powers at your higher manifester level then shuffle off control to your secondary mind, but it was recently pointed out to me that this combo isn't technically legal. Co-op has the Compulsion descriptor. Schism has a special effect when you fail a save vs. a compulsion (willingly forgoing a saving throw gives the same result as failing) then you make a second save. If the second save fails then Schism ends and you are affected. If the second save succeeds then Schism ends and you are not affected. Either way, once you have been hit with a compulsion and didn't make the save, your Schism is over.

Because the combo works so well our table rule has been to drop the Compulsion descriptor from Co-opt. It doesn't seem to fit the power anyway (which is why we never noticed it was there previously); nothing in the descriptive text implies that you compel the subject to surrender control of its spell/power, instead, you reach into the subject's mind and take what you want. Nothing in the power amounts to possession or influence, so Protection from (Alignment) should not block it.
