| The_Mess01-04-08, 11:00 PM | The closest thing I can think of off the top of my head is Cloud Mind. |
| Jaid01-05-08, 03:25 PM | in core, not really. there is cloud mind (which lets you be undetectable entirely, not just invisible, to one person) and the mass version (which allows you to be invisible to more than one person) but both of those allow a save and are mind-affecting iirc. not exactly optimal. there is the psionic duergar's invisibility psi-like ability, which uses regular invisibility rules instead of cloud mind (thank goodness for that). and there is a power in mind unveiled, a third-party product from dreamscarred press, which iirc is very similar to invisibility, but which has the drawback of your DM may not like third-party stuff (even if it *is* 100 times better than some of the stuff WotC puts out). other than that, you'd basically have to look into stuff that gives a large hide bonus, which isn't really the same thing at all. sorry about that. boards're kinda screwy, when i hit it and it did nothing i assumed that my browser was doing something screwy and so i tried hitting it again. so uhhh... if you see a mod around, ask if they could get rid of the other 3 posts, please? |

| DracoPhoenix01-05-08, 06:07 PM | On the grounds that cloud mind is really suckky, I'd have to say "no" to "is there an invisibility power?" As to why, I think technically, Cloud mind, Mass is suppose to achieve the same effect. But it is nowhere near as attractive, especially given it takes up one of 2 per level powers, and will quite probably miss at least one person out. The whole L6 power v L2/4 (Gtr) spell also doesn't do it any favours. |
| RavinRay01-07-08, 07:46 AM | Read this old Invisibility: What The Heck? thread. |
| Tectorman01-09-08, 04:39 PM | (Hey, that was my thread!) More importantly though, read RavinRay's post (a ways down the page) linking you to the 3.0 Invisibility power. Which is about the closest you're going to get. |
