Is there one? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-27-07, 04:27 PM Is there a list of powers that are viable to be made into the various items? In other words, a list of powers that can be tattoos, power stones, and the like?

Or, could someone just explain the creation process to me? I understand most of it, but what is getting me is the part of what powers can be used. It says "Powers with a range of personal can be made into psionic tattoos, but they cost double the price of standard psionic tattoos".

So, then, what is a "standard" tattoo? As the user of a tattoo is both the manifester and the target, I would have thought that powers with a range of personal were the powers that this item was intended to be used for. However, this is harder to do, for some reason.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

No more so then the user of a potion is both the Caster and the target of it's effect.

The main difference there is that Potions cannot contain Personal ranged Spells at all, where as a Tattoo can contain Personal ranged Powers (at twice the cost).

I see the problem I was having, now. I was thinking that a power that has a specification of 'you' was a personal range power, too. I just thought it was another way of saying the same thing. Now I see that it really is a different specification.
