AntiDjinn 09-07-07, 12:18 AM	The rules don't state explicitly one way or the other, but probably not. First issue: Can the second power have a metapsionic applied? It doesn't say you can't, so can you throw power 1 linked to empowered power 2? The general consensus here is that you can if you have 2 foci to expend, or have epic psionic focus. If you can apply a meta to the second power, it appears all focus expending happens this round (not that you expend for Link Power this round, get refocused with Psionic Meditation/Hustle, and expend to cover the cost of your second metapsionic next round). So if you determine that you do qualify to apply a meta to the second power, can it be Linked Power? It is a metapsionic feat, after all. The problem is, no feat ever stacks with itself unless it says so. Lets say you do Brain Lock Linked to: Ego Whip Linked to Ego Whip. Looking at the power results retroactively to initial manifestation: Round 3: Ego Whip goes off, targeting your previous Ego Whip subject. 3 points not paid this round because they were paid on round 1. Does not break your concentration on Brain Lock because Ego Whip requires no action on your part. Round 2: Ego Whip goes off, targeting your Brain Lock subject. 6 points (3 points base + metapsionic cost of 3 for your Linked Power: Ego Whip) is not paid this round because it was paid round 1. Focus not expended because it was expended round 1. Does not break your concentration on Brain Lock because Ego Whip requires no action on your part. Round 1: Brain Lock goes off. 9 points (3 points base + a metapsionic cost of 6 for Linked Power: Ego Whip (3 points base + metapsionic cost of 3 for Linked Power: Ego Whip) are all paid this round. Your focus and your psicrystal's are expended as part of the manifestation. The section in blue is your problem. Even though you believe you are applying Linked Power to two different powers, the whole thing is applied as a metapsionic cost to the first power. Thus, you are stacking the benefit of a feat with itself.
