THis dont make than weaker? Not really, then they can take class levels in psion, use metamagic, and take advantage of magic item usage and creation. |
| balard02-28-07, 01:26 PM | Yes, but they alredy could do all this stuff, but with sorcerer levels. AND spell like abillities. Look at the Elder Brain and the Mind Flayers and theirs respective psionic versions. The mind flayer dont lose mind blast and stuff. The Brain does. |
| Kiklio02-28-07, 05:54 PM | It's generally accepted that the psionic Illithid is far too powerful for its CR. I believe the Illithid kept its mind blast to retain its flavor and classic abilities. IN addition, it is generally accepted that the sorcerer class is rather weak, while the psion class is a good if not great class in terms of potential power. |
