It says the power points come from the target. Non-psionic creatures, and psionic creatures who only have psi-likes, don't have any power points for you to drain. So no, it wouldn't work on non-psionic creatures.

04-27-07, 04:14 PM Personally, I play a broad interpretation of Psi-Magic transparency.
The 1pp = 1st level slot, 3pp = 2nd level slot, etc. , isn't that difficult to figure out.
Ooh, and the SRD has the Unearthed Arcana version of power points for casters.

This might be quite controversial, though.

Tricky is to decide whether a spell slot taken also takes the spell assigned to it.
Sorcs and Bards, there's no problem. Those poor whiny little Clerics, Druids, and Wizards, well ... :weep:
they don't ever want to loose.
