Mage Slayer feat [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-13-07, 02:37 PM Sorry. I know that this touches on the PSI =magic blurb in the XPH, but I wanted to be entirely clear.

If a Psi-Warrior takes Mage Slayer feat (-4 caster level on all Spells + Spell Like abilities in exchange for bonuses against casters casting defensively) does that gimp his Manifester Level for his psi powers? I think the answer is yes, but not sure.

07-13-07, 02:40 PM It isn't entirely clear. I'd just suggest being consistent. If you don't let Orange Ioun Stones boost a psychic's manifester level by 1, then Mage Slayer shouldn't lower it by 4. If you do let Orange Ioun Stones work, then Mage Slayer should penalize their manifester level.
