Hi,

has anyone here good tips for which monsters have "sexy" supernatural powers which a psion can use when using the power metamorphosis at character level 12?

I am sure many people have done some research on this. I just can't find some easy list.

The stuff I found is difficult to use since many times it's not usable with normal metamorphis since the authors neglected the 15 HD limit and the limits on creature types (No outsiders, undead, constructs etc.).

Example:
I understand that the choker has a good feature (more actions per round).
Typical blaster like the hydras breath (36d6 for a 12headed type) is also good.

Well, you may have already checked this one out, but Puppeteer is always fun- Enthrall is an Exceptional ability, then just swipe Hide Mind as the Supernatural ability. King for a day, and all that.
Lesser Flame Snake(Fiend Folio) has fiery poison and Magma Spit- those could be fun to play with.
Sussurus (Monster Manual 3) can be a great asset if you take its Dronesong- his ability can paralyze undead in their tracks. Since you have your own hitdice, the dronesong is much more effective, even if you only get 3 such attempts per day.
Zern (Monster Manual 4) has an ability called Warping Energy that deals +1d6 damage per 2 HD + int mod extra damage as a standard action on a ranged or melee attack. It's usable out to 120 feet on the ranged version with no range increment.
Leechwalkers (Monster Manual 2) don't have any significant supernatural abilities, but the improved grab/con drain combo is truly scary. Remember that it is possible to make more than 1 grapple check in a round to damage an opponent, netting you a possible 4d4 points of con drain per round.
Catoblepas (Monster Manual 2) has a DC 18 fort save or die gaze attack and an Exceptional ability to stun with its tail attack.
Gibbering Mouther (Monster Manual) has gibbering, which is ok, and Ground manipulation, which is very good. Its Exceptional abilities for attacking are diverse and useful.
Gorgon (Monster Manual) can turn opponents to stone with its breath weapon.
Medusa (Monster manual) has snake poison and the infamous gaze attack.
Rust Monster (Monster manual) It's only an exceptional ability, but hey! Who's complaining? Besides the enemy fighter, I mean.

Alternately, a really interesting choice for greater metamporphosis is the Chronotyryn (Fiend Folio). The Dual Actions supernatural ability allows you to take 2 full round actions in a single round, including 2 full attacks + 2 5 foot steps, a charge and a full attack, etc. Two full rounds of psionic abilities to draw from would make for a very bad day for an opponent. Of course, this form has to wait til ML 17, but even so, keep it in mind.
Hope some of these are helpful to you. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. I read the rules such that you do not get the typical monster's DCs for saves but have to use the ones calculated by the feats rules. So if you have CHA 10 and are psion level 12 all saves for supernatural qualities are 16 no matter what the "real" monster might use.
