| Patrikc11-10-07, 12:25 AM | A Will O' Wisp! Had a quick question about that, as well as another q. First the WoW (no, not that :censored: game!). It says in the statistics block that a Will O' Wisp gets a +9 deflection bonus to AC, however it doesn't state where it got that from. So I was wondering, does one get that deflection bonus when one Metamorphs into a WoW? By RAW, I'm guessing that it doesn't. However one of my fellow players compared it to Natural Armor, in other words, the deflection bonus was to a WoW what natural armor is to, say, a dragon. I suppose it'd be easiest to just run it by the DM, but I'm afraid he's gonna say no, seeing as a Lvl 8 character with 33 AC (incl. Inertial armor) is a bit much. Won't die if he did, though. Plenty of other forms to break Metamorphosis with! And another question, I was looking for some forms that would require Knowledge (Nature). In other words, looking for: animals, fey, giants, monstrous humanoids, plants and vermin. Specifically plants, since they're immune to that pesky Mind Blast I've had the 'pleasure' of running in to the past few sessions. Thanks in advance, and if you can awnser within the next 12 hours, you get a free (home made!) chocolate cookie! :cookie: PJ |
| Suspect_Unusual11-10-07, 12:39 AM | Treant is a fun one. "Why yes, I am immune to mind-affecting spells. Here, have a spear to the face from a 29 strength creature." *spear!* |
| DracoPhoenix11-10-07, 09:48 AM | Well, it doesn't list the defelection bonus as Ex / Sp / Su etc, so I'd be inclined to grant it. That said, you wouldn't gain spell immunity, because it is explicitly mentioned as Ex. |
