I was partly inspired by the idea from Untapped Potential (iirc) of allowing PrCs to progress mind blade enhancement and options instead of manifester levels. If I were to do this for the crystal master (changing prereqs as well), would it be fair to bump the HD, skills, BAB, and saves to match the soulknife? Would a fair rp prereq be to use your mind blade to sunder a crystal hilt that you had previously manifested your mind blade through? And what should I replace Improved Psicrystal and Psicrystal Synergy with? I'm thinking the ability to treat your mind blade as Deep Crystal and the ability to embed a single crystal hilt, enabling you to always make use of it, if desired. It would count as an embedded crystal. Thoughts? Yay or nay? Based, of course, off of the 3.5 Crystal Master (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040625d).
