oyster 10-08-07, 10:02 AM	Hello I'm looking for ways to boost movement. Currently the two options I can think of are: 1. Boots of striding and jumping 2. Speed of Thought feat (Psionic feat) Can you think of any other feats / powers / spells / items that boost movement?
SlanderPanic 10-08-07, 10:21 AM	Armor of quickness (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/armorAndShields.htm#quickness) is nice. Also, I generally prefer boots of skating (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/universalItems.htm#bootsofSkating) to boots of striding and springing. A xeph bursting could go up to 70 feet in a single move if he had boots of skating, armor of quickness, and Speed of Thought. If he was going downhill, he could hit 85. If he can boost his speed by three more and couple it with a flux capacitor, he could run through time!

InkBlot 10-09-07, 01:12 PM	The Freedom Mantle in Complete Psionics grants a +10 unnamed bonus to speed. Speed Of Thought grants a +10 insight bonus to speed. I think there's something out there that grants a circumstance bonus to speed. I don't recall what it is, but I know it isn't psionic. It might be the Dash feat from Complete Warrior (+5 to speed). Psionics isn't good for super speed. Sure you can stack burst, Speed Of Thought, and the Freedom Mantle, but that's only +30; expeditious retreat alone gives you +30. To get super speed with psionics you'd need some sort of homebrew power (see below). Ludicrous Speed Psychoportation Level: Nomad 2, Psychic Warrior 2 Display: Auditory and visual Manifesting Time: 1 swift action Range: Personal Target: You Duration: 1 round/level Power Points: 3 With each step you stretch the fabric of space around yourself, pushing the universe behind you. You gain a +30 enhancement bonus to speed for all movement modes Augment: You can manifest this power in one or both of the following ways. 1. For every additional power point you spend, your enhancement bonus to speed increases by 10. For example, if you spend an extra 7 power points you would have a +100 enhancement bonus to speed. 2. If you spend 2 additional power points, this power's duration becomes 10 min/level.
