Can someone help me understand the Elocator's special ability, "Flanker" a little more clearly?

Right now it's all fuzzy in my head, heh.

Basically, they can flank from any square, they don't have to be across from whoever they are flanking.

Typically to flank, an ally must be on the opposite border of an enemy for a flanking bonus to apply. With Elocater there just needs to be an ally:D

It's not quite just needing an ally.
It is "She can designate any adjacent square as the square from which flanking against an ally is determined (including the square where she stands, as normal)."

So the elocater just gets to pick which adjacent square they count as being in for purposes of flanking. Though that square can be an occupied one. It gets particulalrly interesting when the elocator can attack from above a target. Thinking in three dimensions really makes this ability incredibly handy.
