I need someone to give me a 5th lvl optimized Psion(of any particular type) as long as it's geared to tear **** up. Use any stats, as long as it looks like it wasn't fudged rolls. Three 18 or more look kinda suspicious and whatnot. No magic item's, which sucks. Im not picky about race, but our DM doesn't allow anything crazy. So one of the core races is probably best. Thank-you in advance to anyone who can help.
(If you can, post it clearly enugh to write down directly to a character sheet.)

Also, there are no other Psionic's in the campaign, so anything meant to disrupt another psion is useless.

I take it you're wanting to go PvP and destroy another player's character? If so, that's rather bad form.

Even so, do you use transparency? And if so, to what degree?

Also, what kind of "****" are you wanting to tear up? If you want to focus on a specific kind of enemy, what kind? You can have a generalist, but it's often easier to focus on one specific kind of foe.

Do you want to be sneaky, blasty, buffy (no, not the vampire slayer), flighty, or mind-crushy?

Really, it does make a difference.

I don't plan on killing any players. In our campaign, we ended up being transported to Ravenloft, and apparently it's very very bad to be there.

Ive never played a psion before, and there are no other psion's in the group. We are mostly tanks, and one caster. So since I have to reroll a character instead of get a resurection option like allmost everyone else got, I want to just "blow stuff up," in a way.

My backstory would probably be that somehow I ended up in Ravenloft, and at the time I was just young, and I needed to defend myself the best as possible in that particular scenario. The revenge part comes from wanting to have a min/maxed character.

Our DM makes it hard for us to be powerful or to get any magic items, and a self sufficient psion needs only himself, for the most part.

I was using a ninja, and I had a feat to stay invisible as long as I pumped ki into it every round. But he ignored it, and just had a BBEG kill me off as easy as pie. He said being invisible and attacking without becoming visible was too powerful.

Then I'd think that the same would go for any other character you had.

Since you're in Ravenloft, avoid telepaths. Mind-affecting effects do no good at all against undead.

If you're wanting self-sufficiency, I'd suggest a shaper. You can make all of your mundane equipment, and astral construct is the ultimate Swiss-army-knife power (check out the Boost Construct feat and the Constructor PrC (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040625b)). If you get access to the psionic dimensional anchor power, all the better, as you can prevent critters from using dimensional travel (and possibly allow your constructs to grapple ethereal foes - great for ghosts!).

Otherwise, check out feats that allow you to extend your powers, and take psionic minor creation, have a psicrystal (for scouting and so many other utility purposes) and have some direct-damage powers (such as crystal shard - it bypasses null psionics fields!). Get a few save-or-suck powers; my favorites are psionic grease and entangling ectoplasm.

The rest is up to you.

A kineticist or a nomad might do well for you, however, if you want to go with either direct-damage or mobility/battlefield control. Playing a nomad will allow you to leave Ravenloft any time you want, though, with powers like dream travel and astral caravan. This may just tick the DM off.

Thank you very much. I can't wait.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

What books do you suggest I get that have most of this stuff in it? My friend has alot of 3.5 books on his computer, but I want to buy the book that would serve my purposes.

The Expanded Psionics Handbook is essential and really all you need to play a good and decent Shaper. Pick up Boost Construct & Psicrystal Affinity as your first feats. I would suggest being Elan in this case, since 2 additional power points and their racial abilities together with being an Aberration (no Dominate Person here) adds up well in Ravenloft.

I'm not sure it will. Last time I looked at Ravenloft, it was impossible to leave it entirely using any mortal power. As well as I remember, Astral Caravan wouldn't necessarily be all that useful, since the Mist replaces the Astral Plane on Ravenloft. And personally, I wouldn't Dream Travel there. The place is a living nightmare. Who wants to visit the nightmare of a nightmare?

The DM doesn't like DM'ing thing's that don't make rational sense. On thursday's he traded places with one of the players who has DM'ed before. And he didn't want to play because our character's were a weretiger, a planetouched, a human ranger and some kind of Gnome that's good at hiding "Because it doesn't make sense that they would be on the same team."

I second the shaper suggestion. Especially if you begin play at 5th level. Astral Constructs start getting good around here, and you can begin play with Ectoplasmic Coccon - one of the best save-or-dies in the game of D&D and a 3rd level power at that.

No need to wait to start tinkering with your character, just go to d20srd.org and read up on psionics.

I'd have to know more about the characters to know whether it makes sense that they're working together.

Well, im a weretiger fighter, banished from the tribe because I wasn't my "father's" child. My mother(bangal tiger) had an affair with another weretiger(that white tiger) and when I transformed for the first time I was orange with white stripes. Thus banished.

The planetouched guy is a Water *insert correct word here* from the races of faerun book. He's also a rogue, I think. And he thinks he's "The Man" and doesn't take any gruff lightly.

The other human of the group is just a plain ol' ranger. Very little personality. The guy playing him is not much into anything but what the character would do at the time and forget the personality.

The gnome guy is a WhisperGnome, I think. He's a fighter with a gun. I found that kinda odd. He also looks mexican, and he doesn't say much.

if you have access to untapped potential then you could use the Elan substitution levels for psion. There are also some powers that you might want to check out along with a nifty item that allows your psicrystal to become your astral construct for a very long time.
