need help with feats and character creation.. [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-08, 10:44 PM Hey guys!

Heres the deal, I've been trying and trying to make my new Human Society mind, im stuck on feats on powers & skills though, can anyone make some suggestions? The DM said I could use any source book as long as I can explain what it does, how it works etc.. Im also starting out at level 2 my INT is 18.

I only have access to the PHB and the Society Mind free download. (pay day is still over a week away) which reminds me.. what books/downloads [Dreamscarred for sure] should I get? (I have loved psionics since Dark Sun.. and I haven't played in about 8 years :weep: ) so im in desperate need of suggestions since we play tomorrow morning!

Also, im wanting to progress to the Shenrign(sp) PrC if that matters?

01-18-08, 11:46 PM The basic question is, what do you want to accomplish? We can point out a hundred great feats until your buried in meaningless data, but it would be better to offer a little more focus.

01-19-08, 12:48 AM Sorry, in my haste I forgot to say I want to be a healer psion.. we already have "straight fighter, a ranged fighter that has a level in a healer class, and hmm how to explain the last. Well the last is a Monster race"

01-19-08, 08:06 PM I've heard that a few levels of Sangehirn (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040625c) work well for a Society Mind healer.

It's proably best if you can get your hands on the Expanded Psionics Handbook, but if you can't, look through the Psionics section of the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/).
