| booze06-04-07, 11:52 AM | hey everyone, my group just started with new characters (we started without a class and have to somehow gain it...) i decided to try out a Telepath for once (still have to convince my DM for we never used psions) anyway, i am now currently planing my character and wonder what kind of feats/powers i should take my planning so far: http://img107.imageshack.us/img107/2033/characteraw1.jpg any ideas for other/better powers? any any ideas at all for what feats i can use? i've got acces to the PHB, DMG, XPH and CP |
| The_Ditto06-04-07, 12:55 PM | Don't waste your time with the Illithid "junk" ... Take Mind Thrust at level 1 ... swap it out later ... it'll really do good for the first few levels in which most things will usually fail their saves ... after that, save to negate? No thanks ... stick with save for halves, or no saves ... Deja vu is neat, but wait on that .. take it later ... as a psion, I'd avoid empathic transfer, hostile ... you're not Planning on getting damaged, are you? Take vigor instead ... and pretend you don't have those temp hps .. (ie try not to get hit ...) You'll be much better off . Not much to say on the other stuff ... :tiphat: |
| AntiDjinn06-04-07, 02:18 PM | The Illithid Heritage feats are some of the worst dross to ever see publication, in a game or otherwise. Quick question: If you use Illithid Blast how many points does it cost? There is nothing to gain from this set of feats that is worth giving up Overchannel, Talented, Psicrystal Containment, Psionic Meditation, Expanded Knowledge, or any number of metapsionics over. By "special" I assume you mean bonus feats. You only get the number you have listed if you are playing human (which is a good idea). You will want Psychic Reformation unless there are psions for hire in your game. It lets you trade out feats, powers, and skills on the spot (retraining only trades a single character resource and you have to level up to do it). If you will be allowed to pay an NPC to reform you, then don't take this power; you don't use it that often and you save half the XP cost for a little gold. You have multiple powers that are excellent when you first have access to them, but soon become dead weight. Crisis of Life is one example: At character level 13, against CR 13 encounters, it is a decent save-or-die. It has a good chance to kill outright (you won't routinely be up against opponents with Mind Blank for a few levels, and you don't use it on anything you know to be mindless) and does decent damage automatically even if they make the save or are over 11 dice (and it is untyped damage with no good defense). But within 3 or 4 character levels the power becomes near useless; the DC does not augment, neither does the damage. You can pay more points to affect targets of higher dice, but they will probably make the save so all you will ever do with the power is the fixed 7d6. If you want to kill someone and they are not immune to mind-affecting then use Death Urge which has a DC augmentation. |
| booze06-04-07, 02:34 PM | so Mind Thrust on lvl 1 Déjà vu at 5? switch Empathic Transfer, Hostile for Vigor and take that at lvl 2? any must have powers i missed? now feats... no Illithid stuff an therefor rather · Expanded Knowledge (Metamorphosis) · Extend Power · Empower Power · Psicrystal Containment · Overchannel · Talented · Psionic Meditation now i have 7 feats (together with Psycrystal Affinity), but what else to use? and which to take at what level? gee, hard to keep the overview when first dealing with psions... now my DM better allows me to play one :p also i kinda doubt we'll ever get into very high levels, firstly cause we don't pay that often, secondly cause we never got that far... and thirdly cause the group probably won't exist for a very long time anymore... people moving away, studying abord and all i thought level 1: Psycrystal Affinity Psi Meditation Overchannel level 3: Psicrystal Containment level 5: Talented level 6: Extend Power level 9: Expanded Knowledge (Metamorphosis) level 10: Empower Power |
| AntiDjinn06-04-07, 02:56 PM | Consider Expanded Knowledge: Astral Construct. Major problem areas for telepaths are dealing with undead, constructs, an other telepaths or enchanters. Since you are a soft and tempting target it is nice to be able to materialize a body guard with a thought. All astral constructs are immune to fear, moral effects, stat drain, energy drain, disease, necromantic effects, etc., so they can go toe to toe with undead of similar level. They are also immune to mind-affecting so when you are fighting another telepath (well, anyone who tends to use compulsions) putting an astral construct in his face is a good opening move. They also don't take crits, so every crit that is wasted on your construct is one that could have taken you down instead. You have Time Hop which is the other telepath's work horse power. When you have a challenge that can't compelled (such as a simple locked door) it can often be put on hold instead. |
| booze06-04-07, 03:13 PM | sounds like a great idea to have a personal bodyguard... and how does time hop work with locked doors? |
| AntiDjinn06-04-07, 03:20 PM | Time Hop can target objects, so long as they fall within your weight limit. A door (locked or otherwise) is an object. So when you need a door out of the way just hop it out and walk through before it comes back. After the door returns it won't look like someone has tampered with it. Think of Time Hop as Disintegrate, Temporary; it can remove a variety of annoyances and either bypass them or buy you more time to deal with them. It is like a hold button for challenges. |
| Fafnir06-04-07, 03:22 PM | You hop the door into the future. Voilà, the passage is open for one minute. More than enough.:D |
| booze06-04-07, 03:23 PM | now that's very sweet... will be a lot of fun for me, and pain for the rest of my group, and even more often for the DM :D i'm loving the psions more and more |
| pud06-04-07, 03:44 PM | There are better uses of your focus than Talented. |
| The_Ditto06-05-07, 09:53 AM | now that's very sweet... will be a lot of fun for me, and pain for the rest of my group, and even more often for the DM :D i'm loving the psions more and more You have no idea ... just on the weekend, my Psion(Nomad) 5 and group were on a boat on a river ... got ambushed by something .. (we never found out what) .. they raised 2 large chains up to "catch" the boat .. I Timehopped 1 link of the front chain ... the chain effectively "broke" and fell back into the water, and off we sailed, to the grumbles of the ambushers on shore ... (couple rounds later, the link reappeared .. but of course, just sank as it was no longer attached to the chain). (just to clarify: I tried for the whole chain, but it was LARGE .. so I just target a single link ... :D ) "You are the weakest link ... Goodbye!" |
| BloodyChariot06-05-07, 10:07 AM | [...] "You are the weakest link ... Goodbye!" I lolled. Also, never time hop an ally or something you need while on a moving vehicle, especially a fast-moving vehicle. I'm sure you can imagine why, but it's easy to forget about the obvious during a fight... |
| booze06-05-07, 11:06 AM | hehe, i will keep that in mind ;) also great idea with the chain... i enjoy "abusing" stuff for something it wasn't ment to be used for |
| Lycanthromancer06-05-07, 01:18 PM | Oh, it was meant for that. It's just that to get the most out of anything that isn't just built for blasting, ya gotta use yer imagination. |
| booze06-05-07, 02:51 PM | Oh, it was meant for that. It's just that to get the most out of anything that isn't just built for blasting, ya gotta use yer imagination. yeah, obviously... it's just that i am sure that you can much more with it than most dm would think of ;) |
| Lycanthromancer06-05-07, 03:38 PM | Actually, had he made the attack roll on the chain, a sonic energy ray could've done the same thing. |
| InkBlot06-05-07, 05:01 PM | A normal human sized chain only has 5 HP, and Sonic ignores hardness. So a 2pp energy ray could easily bust one, and a 5pp energy ray (same cost as time hop) is all but guaranteed to do so. However, chains large enough to lift a river boat are probably a good deal thicker than that. I can imagine them being at least a 1/2-inch thick, which would be 15 hp. You would need at least a 6pp energy ray to have a good chance of busting through the chain. For 5pp you can guarantee it's removal with time hop. Of course this doesn't factor in opportunity cost or anything like that. Time hop and energy ray are two solid powers that are likely to appear on any psion's list. |
| booze06-05-07, 06:19 PM | also i think it is much cooler to let a part of the chain hope forward in time so that the rest falls apart then to destroy it ;) |
| CrimsonDeath06-05-07, 07:36 PM | Tecnically, unless you have Privileged Energy: Sonic, augmenting Energy Ray [sonic] doesn't guarantee a single additional point of damage. You might roll all 1s, no matter how many PP you spend. |
| The_Ditto06-06-07, 08:28 AM | Actually, had he made the attack roll on the chain, a sonic energy ray could've done the same thing. Probably not .. I tried to emphasize "LARGE" chain ... he described the thing as huge (how it was made or how these "things" were manhandling I'll never know ... but I guess since we never landed and investigated ... ) Each link was described as about 5-10 lbs ... or more ... LARGE chain .. :tiphat: I don't think the energy rays would have helped much .. (I know - ignore hardness ... but in our game, we've houseruled that sonic damage is sonic damage .. and the psionic versions don't "ignore hardness" ... we also don't apply the -1 dmg to it .. ;) ... vs a crystalline creature, however ... all bets are off ... :P ) |
| Tyroki06-06-07, 05:05 PM | Oic. Still discussing energy ray? I'm reading this thread to try and get some ideas myself, though the campaign I'm in has already started >.> So I'm looking for ideas as I run. xD Okay I get it. Energy Ray and Time Hop are great, as discussed in 'other' threads xD |
| AntiDjinn06-06-07, 11:20 PM | As far as the big 3 first level blasting powers, here is my somewhat biased analysis: Mind Thrust: Low levels: Excellent. A solid power. It has high damage potential and a great damage to cost ratio on augmentation. At low levels targets who are outright immune to mind-affecting are relatively uncommon and generally easily dispatched by other means (skeletons, zombies, vermin, etc.). The bulk of your foes are humanoids, thugs, animals, and other things without a high Will save. Mind Thrust's damage is all or none, but a first level psion with an Int of 16 gets a DC of 14 which is pretty good against targets with a Will save in the range of -2 to +1. At first level you will land more damage per round on the average than with the other blasts. Mid Levels: Starts to suck, this happens surprisingly early. A higher percentage of your opponents have a decent Will save (you still pick your targets and don't fire this one off at someone who seems likely to be sharp enough to resist it). You are also will be fighting more undead, oozes, constructs, etc. and a higher percentage of these will have special attacks that dish out punishment (stat drain, energy drain, poison, disease, etc.) that goes beyond mere hit point damage; it you are blasting and can't take such opponents down quickly then you are going to have a short lifespan because you won't be able to use Vigor to simply outlast them. This is the buyer's remorse, Psychic Reformation phase. High levels: Sucks completely. Waste of an action to even use it. Foes who are immune are common. Mind Blank may be a problem (overblown, it is not like your average fighter will have it up all the time). Most importantly: If you have sized up a foe and think it is not immune to mind-affecting and that you can beat its Will save, then why shoot it for damage when you can own it with Domination? If you want the subject dead then Death Urge or Microcosm or any number of such will get the job done faster. At high levels a blown Will save usually means Game Over, not a few dice of damage. Crystal Shard: Low Levels: Fair. It requires an attack roll and it is all or none like Mind Thrust. Sure, it is a ranged touch attack, but at 1st level your psion or wilder has a BAB of 0 and if you don't have a Dex bonus then you still miss a target with 10 touch AC 50% of the time. If you want to hit with Crystal Shard you need to put a good score into Dex (a good idea in most cases anyway) where Mind Thrust only requires a good power stat to a threat. At low levels you are not fighting many dragons or foes in +4 plate so most opponents won't have a huge gap between their standard and touch AC. Mid Levels: Excellent. The bonus of targeting touch rather than standard AC will be significant in a high percentage of cases. Your BAB has improved (not quickly being a psion or wilder, but faster than the touch AC of foes other than monks and such). You may have feats like Weapon Focus (ray) or Psionic Shot to get the job done faster. At mid levels Ray Deflection (SC, p. 166 Bard 4, Wiz/Sorc 4) could be a problem. This spell causes all rays to automatically miss the subject. For those who feel Mind Blank makes mind-affecting powers useless, Ray Deflection does the same for all rays at much lower level though with a much shorter duration. High Levels: Fair to good. It tends to hit most of the time. The difference between your average foes touch and standard AC tends to be huge. It is not subject to Redopsi. Defense is uncommon (though by upper teen levels constant items of Ray Deflection would not be unheard of) but you generally have better things to do with your points and your action than hit point damage. Energy Ray: Low Levels: Fair to good. Same as Crystal Shard in that you need a ranged touch attack. If you don't have a good Dex it will miss more often than Mind Thrust will fail. It does have the distinct advantage of a choice of special effects (like +3 to hit targets in metal armor if you select electrical). Because of this, it will hit more often than Crystal Shard at very low levels. Mid Levels: Good to excellent. Most of the same considerations as Crystal Shard (including Ray Deflection) but energy defenses are becoming more common. High Levels: Pathetic. No one bothers with Energy Ray at high levels. Energy resistance is almost a given, and there are higher level powers that deliver damage + debuffs or special effects. |
| booze06-07-07, 05:00 AM | Energy resistance is almost a given. just a thought... i haven't seen a single monster that is resistant to sonic damage... or is there one? |
| Fafnir06-07-07, 05:33 AM | just a thought... i haven't seen a single monster that is resistant to sonic damage... or is there one? Creatures of chaos like Slaadi and critters that thrive on sound manipulation, like Chelicheras (MM3). Otherwise it's pretty rare. |
| booze06-07-07, 05:55 AM | aah, i see... not realy creatures my DM would use then (we only have MM1 and MoF) btw, what do you people think of the feat Psionic Body for getting some additional hp... and would metapsionic feats also count towards the hps one gets? considering just the RAW they don't i guess, or does it say anywhere that metapsi feats are psi feats too? and the power Matter Agitation after all it gives 1dmg the 1st round, 1d4 the second and 1d4+1d6 (or doesn't it add?) for 3rd and any additional round... at 1min/lvl it could already cause 1+9d4+8d6 damage to creatures wearing armor, that's quite a lot for 1st level (if the fight even take 10 rounds) |
| JulesCARV06-07-07, 06:29 AM | You don't really have to take psychic reformation. Having it as a permanent power means you can use it in the midst of any adventure, which can certainly be handy, but if you only want to use it for more "long-term" purposes, such as changing feats or powers known on a long-term basis (like getting rid of mind thrust), then you could always just take it when you next level up as your power known (you always get at least one new power known when you level up, at least until epic levels), use it for your purposes, psychicly reforming it away as you do the rest of the reformation you needed to do anyway, and get the power you really wanted, at no extra cost in PP or XP. That works so long as you don't need to psychicly reform more than once per level-up, and can afford to not have the power between level-ups. |
| RavinRay06-07-07, 07:45 AM | i haven't seen a single monster that is resistant to sonic damage... Emerald dragons (sonic breath weapon), xong-yong (sonic energon). |
| AntiDjinn06-07-07, 12:46 PM | Anything with access to spells or powers could have energy resistance, and it is something they are likely to have up at the start of a battle. Energy Adaptation, Specified can be manifest as an immediate action by a 7th level manifester and so sonic resistance can up before your power lands. Energy Nullification Field completely nerfs all effects with the energy descriptor chosen. Energy Immunity (SC p. 80, Cleric 6, Druid 6, Wiz/Sorc 7) does the same. At higher levels relying on a ray with an energy descriptor is iffy at best. Most characters have switched to Force or untyped damage by then. |
| InkBlot06-07-07, 04:17 PM | Not to mention Spell/Power Resistance! btw, what do you people think of the feat Psionic Body for getting some additional hp... and would metapsionic feats also count towards the hps one gets? Psionic Body is a great feat if you are planning on taking psionic feats for most of your feats (like a psywar going down the entire Psionic Weapon chain). Metapsionic feats are not psionic feats. They do not work with Psionic Body. Host feats, from Complete Psionic (and Eberron, I think) are psionic feats and do work with Psionic Body. I know this probably isn't relevant. It's just a neat little factoid that doesn't get brought up often enough. |
| booze06-07-07, 04:36 PM | well, it seems as if i'll have 9 psionic feats in the end (taking a feat double counts as two feats for that, no?) and 4 metapsi ones... which i am not sure i will take in the end they are empower power, extend power, linked power and twin power... if i find better i'll switch them, or some at least |
| carnivore06-07-07, 04:55 PM | you may find that you will get a lot more from these: Psicrystal Affinity .....always useful Psicrystal Containment.. handy for extra focus Psionic Meditation ......good to refocus quickly Extend Power......... always useful Twin Power ........... necessary for Blasting at higher levels Quicken Power ....... very handy in many situations EK x 3 for other powers: Astral Construct, Metamorphosis, Teleport :D |
| booze06-07-07, 05:48 PM | you may find that you will get a lot more from these: Psicrystal Affinity .....always useful Psicrystal Containment.. handy for extra focus Psionic Meditation ......good to refocus quickly Extend Power......... always useful Twin Power ........... necessary for Blasting at higher levels Quicken Power ....... very handy in many situations have them all but Quicken, maybe instead of Empower Power (lvl 15) or Linked Power (lvl 18) EK x 3 for other powers: Astral Construct, Metamorphosis, Teleport will get EK Astral Construct on lvl 3 and Metamorphosis on lvl 9 maybe EK Teleport on lvl 12 then (cause on 10 is Talented) or first teleport then talented? oh, but i already got greater teleport on lvl 16 anyway now my char would look like this: http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/8638/charactermm5.jpg |
| Tyroki06-07-07, 06:14 PM | Funny little question, but could you use quicken to Telekinetic Thrust enemies into the sky, then use Energy Ball or something to combo them in their time of helplessness? |
| BloodyChariot06-07-07, 06:59 PM | Yes, but that sounds kind of inefficient. |
| InkBlot06-07-07, 07:15 PM | Funny little question, but could you use quicken to Telekinetic Thrust enemies into the sky, then use Energy Ball or something to combo them in their time of helplessness? Telekinetic thrust is a standard action. Energy ball is a standard action. You can't do this because the person would hit the ground again before you'd have another action to manifest an energy ball with. If you Quickened the energy ball or the TK thrust, then it would work. There's not much point to it though, since they would still have the same chance of taking 1/2 damage from the energy ball whether they're in the sky or on the ground. Getting flung into the sky doesn't do anything bad to you numbers-wise (besides falling damage, but that comes afterwards). It would look really cool, but that's about it. |
| Tyroki06-07-07, 07:22 PM | It's a thing called "Flavour" ^^ It's just for fun really, a sort of, flashy thing I guess. Inefficient or not =D The image just looks awesome in my mind xD |
| InkBlot06-07-07, 07:33 PM | Yeah. I know. I even said in my post "it would look realy cool." And come to think of it, it isn't inneficient at all. It's a lot of damage in one round, for a relatively low cost. 11d6 falling damage + 11d6 energy damage, at the minimum level you can do it (11th level). That's 22d6 damage in one round, for 22 power points. The trick is to Quicken TK thrust, not energy ball, because TK thrust has free scalling. Of course this only works in places with a 110 foot high cieling (or no ceiling at all), and only if your enemy can't fly. |
| BloodyChariot06-07-07, 07:35 PM | Yuck. Way too DBZ for my tastes. I think telekinetic thrust by itself would look better. |
| Tyroki06-07-07, 07:45 PM | Yeah. I know. I even said in my post "it would look realy cool." And come to think of it, it isn't inneficient at all. Sorry ^^ I missed the "It would look really cool" And quickening the TK Thrust was the idea =D I mean, it's not a nova, and it still would look awesome. Thats a win/win situation. ^^ But why 110 foot high ceiling? O.o Chariot: Too DBZ? Nah. But it would look awesome to hurl a ball of lightning or fire up at enemies you've thrown ^^ |
| InkBlot06-07-07, 07:55 PM | Haha. Sorry ^^ I missed the "It would look really cool" And quickening the TK Thrust was the idea =D I mean, it's not a nova, and it still would look awesome. Thats a win/win situation. ^^ But why 110 foot high ceiling? O.o In order for someone to take 11d6 falling damage, they have to fall at least 110 feet. If the ceiling is lower than 110 feet, then you can't thrust them that high. |
| Tyroki06-07-07, 08:56 PM | I see. But what about damage from slamming said opponent into the roof with said quickened Thrust, THEN Energy ball them? That is, if there is a roof. Isn't there damage from slamming people into things? |
| BloodyChariot06-07-07, 10:40 PM | 1d6 per 10 feet (same as falling). Telekinetic thrust's max is 1d6. See here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/telekineticThrust.htm). Dungeonscape has a fighter variant that can bullrush someone into a wall to deal 8d6+(strength mod x 3). |

| booze06-08-07, 12:56 PM | dammit, my master doesn't want me to let me play a psion... he is new to DMing and thinks psions are a bit suspect... any ideas how i can convince him to let me play my telepath? weirdly enough he'd let me play an evil assassin... weird |
| Lycanthromancer06-08-07, 01:12 PM | Check out the stickies at the beginning of the forum. :D |
| booze06-08-07, 03:51 PM | Check out the stickies at the beginning of the forum. :D i read those... the problem is he doesn't think Psions are too strong, he just doesn't know how they work and he's new to DMing so he's scared to add new stuff already... ah well, i sent him my 1st to 3rd lvl plan translated with comments so he will see for himself guess now i just have to wait and hope for the best... i'm just sick of playing the same level over and over again |

XD Plenty of info there. My DM had to do the same because he'd forgotten some things from when he last read anything Psionic, which was ages ago. |
| booze06-08-07, 06:08 PM | oh i did send him the srd already, but see, i'm in germany and even though my master's english is quite good (i think), but he doesn't know all the english gaming terms so i translated my feats and powers and other stuff for him... make it as easy as possible for him and the possibility that he'll say yes iun the end is the biggest, no? ;) |
| Tyroki06-08-07, 06:11 PM | You could be mad and translate the entire "Psionics Overview" from the SRD XD But you'll likely have to translate the powers and stuff too. =3 Are you 'that' dedicated? |
| booze06-08-07, 06:40 PM | i just translated the powers and feats i took for my 1st 3 levels. so just 4 feats and 8 powers, besides that a bit of the psicrystal and astral construct states... and yeah, i really do want to play something new for a change |

So what is your character concept so far? Outside of rules and statistics that is. Who is your character? What is their mindset? How do they see the world? You know, RP based stuff ^^ |
| booze06-09-07, 01:13 AM | there isn't much of a "who is my character" yet for we started at level 0 without a class we're all farmers living in a small village, and when the war came we had to defend the kingdom... but were kicked forward in time 37 years and now we have to develope our characters by ourselves we have to do things that sound plausible so that we can do a certain class i'm still considering what kind of stuff my char will do (if he can be a psion) probably doing a lot of mind games, meditation, reading about psi, and such |
| Tyroki06-09-07, 01:28 AM | You know, it's quite possible that his mind snapped open when his wife was killed in the war. =3 Something like that. Who knows. |
| booze06-09-07, 05:27 AM | hehe, he's 17 years old... but his parents are now dead, cause it's been 37 years so yah, sounds like a great idea oh, now i remember something my char said when we "arrived" in the future... to the quote thread! |
| Tyroki06-09-07, 08:12 AM | hehe, he's 17 years old... but his parents are now dead, cause it's been 37 years so yah, sounds like a great idea oh, now i remember something my char said when we "arrived" in the future... to the quote thread! Look. I'm a noob to psionics. Plain and simple. But I can definately give RP help. I most definately have RP experience outside of D&D. Thats why I was attracted to D&D. The rules which even force the most avid RPer to the point of death if they screw up. Simple. I'm not a number cruncher. I'm not as "efficient" as everyone else here. I came from actual RPing fullstop to D&D. Flavour, is fun. Number crunching may keep your character alive, but ultimately its up to your DM. The most powerful being in D&D, is the DM. If he doesn't want a BBEG to die, he'll do whatever he can to keep that end guy alive. Why? Because theres likely to be a plot device that says so. Number crunching sucks. I like it sometimes because it gives me ideas on how to use powers, but will I use them? Most likely not. Why? Because I love to RP. I love flavour, and I love to find out how stories will turn out in the way someone means for them to turn out. |
| booze06-09-07, 08:15 AM | well, i love RPing too, but afterall i am completely new to Psions so i at least like to know what powers are useful and which are a complete waste afterall you can't even do good RP if your character has nothing to offer ;) |
| The_Shaman06-09-07, 08:42 AM | Matter agitation... looks like an interesting way to go without open lock :) Then again, I've heard time hop being used even more creatively than that. Send that lock into the future until you loot the chest, then have it back on :D |
| Tyroki06-09-07, 08:48 AM | well, i love RPing too, but afterall i am completely new to Psions so i at least like to know what powers are useful and which are a complete waste afterall you can't even do good RP if your character has nothing to offer ;) Ah, I understand that. However, you can even RP the most useless of characters. In honesty, not everyone seems to be so great, no? >3 You can RP absolutely anything. HOWEVER! You want something in D&D which can hold its own in the party, which is what everyone else is helping you with. I myself want to know who your character is, because sometimes, even the number crunchers forget to think about the RP side of things. |
| booze06-09-07, 11:00 AM | of course you can RP everything, but if the party all play "normal" characters it might not be a lot of fun, or you won't be much help... or in the worst case die early if you wanna know about my char, here you go: his name's Naddoddr, he's 17 years old and comes from the little homlet called Grünfuhrt. His parents cam to the place 35 years ago, 2 years before the Big War. They came from a country in the far east which my character only knows little about. He's a farmers son and has an ordinary life. His friends Karl der Große, a halfling, Elonda and Nimwen, both humans, are all also children of local farmers. Most people of the homlet came to that place during the Big War and settled down after it was faught. that's how much i got so far... |
| The_Shaman06-09-07, 01:34 PM | A halfling called Karl der Grosse... nice :P |
| booze06-09-07, 03:00 PM | that's the whole point of the name... we once had a female dwarf (played by the same guy) who's name was hummel maja ;) |
