Hello. I'm rolling a Psychic Warrior, and try as I might, I cannot find anything on Psion Power failure due to armor.

If I wanted to wear Splint Mail, for example. It has a 40% Arcane Spell Failure chance. Is this the case with psionic abilities?

Thanks for your time.

The reasoning is taht since it's all mind, well...

I guess that there is powers/spells/stuff that can screw this, though, not sure.

Not that I'm aware of, at least re: Arcane Spell Failure.

The only spells which are subject to arcane spell failure are arcane spells with somatic components. Arcane spells without somatic components (such as suggestion and true strike) are not subject to failure, nor are divine spells regardless of what components they have, nor are psionic powers, which don't have components anyway.

Not to say that attempts at manifestation can't fail, but what you are wearing has no bearing.

Unless you were wearing a layer of quintessence, I guess. :)
