"The unconscious are considered willing." -- Old Orc Proverb When I've seen similar things, the targets get a second save vs. the original DC to realize they were targeted at all. I like that better, since otherwise you always get to attack from cover without repercussions until one fails his save. Cheers, -- N

And anyways, as long as you make a concentration check you can use mind-affecting effects without repercussions normally anyays.
