I am making a Seer/monk who is a monk who uses precognitive powers in combat. I was thinking of using the variant Seer rules where you trade your 1st level Seer bonus feat in for the ability to use Fate Points aka Action Points. This is in a non-Eberron campaign. Has anyone played this variant? Is it really worth it when you only get 5 Fate Points per level? Is it just better to use the Precognition power regularly because at least you are guaranteed a +2 to add though you can't use it as an immediate action like a Fate Point. Thanks to anyone who has any ideas that can help
