07-01-07, 02:38 AM Question: If you are allowing Psicrystal's to gain feats, could you in a metapsionic blaster build do the following - Kineticist Lvl 15 take Telekinetic Sphere Psionic (Lvl 8 Kineticist Discipline Power), then with the feat your Psicrystal gets at Lvl 15 (providing it took Wild Talent, or even better Hidden Talent), give it Burrowing Power, then use the Lvl 15 Psicrystal Special Ability "Channel Power" where the Psicrystal is treated as the powers originater, then have it use burrowing power when you Channel Offensive powers through the Psicrystal ?

My Kineticist is pretty well planned out through to Epic, currently Lvl 7, I don't want to change his build, but if this is possible, it would make the Psicrystal even more of an asset.

Any help woul be greatly appreciated.

Nope. He's the originator, not the manifester. You must be the manifester to apply Metapsionic feats.

07-01-07, 07:19 AM Thanks, it's amazing when the information is right there in front of you but your brain doesn't want to pick it up.

I appreciate the help.

07-01-07, 07:38 AM What would work, on the other hand, is

Hidden Talent + Burrowing Power + Metapower (With Overchannel + Talented thrown in for good measure if you want).

Since the psicrystal will be the manifester of whatever power it's using (from Hidden Talent), it will be able to make it Burrowing, using Metapower to get Burrowing for 0pp increase, so as not to break it's 1 Manifester level pp limit.

07-01-07, 07:53 AM Nice, but the only issue there is only 1st level powers, so damage & issues with Lesser Globe & Globe of Invulnerability make it subpar IMO.

Thanks for the reply.
