02-27-07, 09:02 PM Have a buddy of mine wanting to play a Exalted Psion. Does anyone have any suggestions for any character builds?? The campaign starts at lvl one is probably gonna go Epic.

Any help would be appreciated.

02-27-07, 09:26 PM Vow of Poverty, Vow of Peace, Telepath 10 / Apostle of Peace 2 / Psychic Theurge 8

Might be better with Ardent instead of Telepath, with WIS synergy and good diplomacy with the Communication domain, but Ardent's trickier to build.

Even if you don't go Vow of Peace, Vow of Nonviolence is always nice for the +4 save DCs.

02-27-07, 11:18 PM I once did a Vow of Poverty Thrallherd. It was, um, interesting.
Nothing odder than owning nothing but a shoe but having hundreds of koblods sacrificing themselves for you.

It works, it's just kind of odd.

02-28-07, 07:19 AM To be honest, the character is probably going to be taking an active role in combat so Vow of Peace and Vow of poverty wouldn't be an option.

And to be honest, we debating now on whether or not to take the character evil lol.

02-28-07, 12:48 PM Vow Of Poverty doesn't prevent you from taking an active role in combat. However, if you're planning on wading into battle yourself you should look at the Psychic Warrior or the Ardent class. In terms of hitpoints, base attack bonus, and power list both of those classes are much more well suited to combat than the Psion.
