Psionic Body [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-06-07, 09:49 PM Ok, this is going to sound like a really basic question. Do metapsionic feats count as psionic feats for purposes of Psionic Body? I only ask this because on the online SRD the metapsionic feats are marked as [metapsionic] but not [psionic]. I've assumed for some time that they were psionic for all purposes. Is this correct?

06-06-07, 10:02 PM They are not the same. Psionic and metapsionic are different feat descriptors and this is important at certain points in the game. For example, a psychic warrior's bonus feats may be selected from the fighter's bonus feat list or the psionic feat list, but not from metapsionic feats.

Either way, I think it's a well designed feat in that you mostly want it at lower levels when you can't benefit from metapsionics anyway. After level 10, it becomes to big a trade off to "stay on the [psionic] path" so to speak, but by then you have enough hp and defensive powers as is anyway, and can afford to take something better than psionic body.
