I've heard of Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas: Mindshadows, but I'm worried it might incorporate too much of the Mindscapes variant rules to be of use in a 3.5 game. If anyone has a good review of this product, I'd love to hear it. Homebrews are welcome. Thanks in advance. |

Check out the Enlightened Monk from Dreamscarred press for a psionic unarmed combatant (I'm starting to sound like a broken record), and check out Psionic Naruto builds (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=589061) for some interesting ideas on how to convert various classic (or not so classic) chi powers to psionics. |

If anyone has a good review of this product, I'd love to hear it. Don't recall any mention of the mindscape rules in this book, but I don't use them anyways, so I may have blocked them out. Its much more of a setting book, think a sort of fantasy version of India, with heavy reliance on psionics and a little use of mecha (just a little, enough to throw out, actually and not miss.) Its got some new classes themed for the setting, and some new psionic feats, many of which are usable in any setting. |

My general assessment of Sarlona includes a little bit of Tibet (Adar (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/sarlona_gallery/103002.jpg)) vs. China (Riedra (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/sarlona_gallery/102981.jpg)), Mongolian steppes (Syrkarn (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/sarlona_gallery/103005.jpg)), and the northern tundra (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/sarlona_gallery/103013.jpg). If you're looking for a distinctly Indian setting, then Sarlona won't help much. By the way, I haven't actually looked at Mindshadows in detail, just seen it on Green Ronin's site. I'd like to take a look at it, but I'm hoping someone somewhere will publish a revised 3.5 version in PDF format. |
