Given that the chameleon PrC gives the idea of psionics under the adaption section, what would be a good progression?

My personal thought would be something like this...

Power points/power level (by class level)-

(similar to the Psychic warrior like the arcane progression is similar to bards)
1: 5 lv 2
2: 9 lv 2
3: 15 lv 3
4: 29 lv 3
5: 39 lv 4
6: 51 lv 4
7: 61 lv 5
8: 70 lv 5
9: 81 lv 6
10: 91 lv 6

power dc/power points based on int

Powers - 2 + class level chosen daily - Any psionic class

Manifester lv = 2 * class level

+2 competence bonus on Knowledge (psionics) checks and psycraft checks and a +2 bonus on Will saves; at 5th level, the bonuses improve to +4.

Any thoughts?

I've seen a version that based it off of an erudite's manifesting with a ML cap equal to your class level (as opposed to 2xChamleon for caster level).

You might be able to google for it. I don't remember where I saw it.

the main problem with double speed ML progression is that while a spellcaster just gets the same spells a little better (usually) from a boosted CL, a manifester can get powers that are the equivalent of new spells (that is, if you augment certain powers they aren't just the same power but better, they're like a whole different power).
