This seems an odd pair of questions, but I looked around and could not find these, so I was wondering if..

1) Are there any psionic classes with death attack?

2) Are there any psionic PrC's based on divination? For example, like Divine Oracle.

The reason I ask is I am building a ninja/divination magic guy. My previous build was Ninja 6/Cloistered Cleric 3/Divine Oracle 1/Black Flame Zealot 10, but I am thinking psionics will go along more with his whole mystery/check me out I am mr badass thing.

(2 notes: 1. I plan on updating or finding an updated version of Bullywug or Grippli, from 2nd ed (Chrono Trigger anyone?) for this char, and also, I know the build will suck, it's just for RP reasons. That said, feel free to optimise any suggestioins)

Thanks guys!

Well, there is a Psychic Assassin (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723d). If you went into that as a Psion (Seer), it might work.

1. Psychic Assassin (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723d)
2. There's no official.

If you want to go psionic, you may want to look at the psychic rogue (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723b) (Mind's Eye), or the Lurk (Complete Psionic), or Shinobi (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=710056), a psionic ninja-type base class.

I think someone posted a Psionic Assassin build that used Remote Viewing and Energy Ray to make death attacks across planar boundaries. The build I saw used the Ardent, but I think a Psion might be better, for the Intelligence synergy (it goes toward power save DCs and Death Attack save DCs). With levels in both Assassin and Psychic Assassin, you can easily have Death Attack save DCs in the 30s.

Well the only problem with that is I am not evil =-P. Also, and I think this is a big thing that Wizards needs to address, there are alot of issues that I have with taking overly-similar classes together. I mean, ninja/rogue can make some sense. But what, then about Ninja/Rogue/Scout/Spellthief/Psycic Rogue/Shinobi (to use a custom one) etc etc.

But anyways. yeah. I dunno. Go froggy.

Isnt there a way you can scry on something (like remote viewing or clairvoyant sense) then be able to affect someone with a power? It ends when you do damage but this could conceivably allow you to study someone from a continent away and kill them and noone be any wiser. Unless I missed something if I did plz correct me.

sure...try this:

Clairtangent Hand
Clairsentience (Scrying)
Level: Seer 5
Display: Auditory, mental, and visual
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
Range: See text
Area: See text
Duration: Up to 1 min./level; see text (D)
Saving Throw: None
Power Resistance: No
Power Points: 9

You can emulate a far hand effect at any distance while simultaneously emulating clairvoyant sense to target your far hand; see the appropriate power descriptions. Clairtangent hand’s duration is up to 1 minute per level when used with a far hand effect.

Augment: If you spend 8 additional power points, you can emulate clairvoyant sense in conjunction with either telekinetic force, telekinetic maneuver, or telekinetic thrust, but this power’s duration expires as soon as any of the noted telekinetic powers deals damage.

study them for 3 rounds....then use the TK Thrust version to throw the guys own dagger at him (making the Death Attack).......then Ta Da...long distance death;)

a Rogue 1/ Psion(seer) 9/ Assasin 3/ Cerebremancer 7 would be great for this....

and he would get full Assasin Spells and 8th lvl powers

My Assassin base class, its not psionic, but it might help. Its in my sig.

The Sighted Seeker PrC from Untapped Potential (http://boards1.wizards.com/leaving.php?destination=http://dreamscarredpress.com/main/index.php%3Foption%3Dcom_virtuemart%26pa ge%3Dshop.browse%26category_id%3D1%26Ite mid%3D29). That's the Remote Viewing power. You can manifest exactly one power from the invisible sensor created by Remote Viewing, and you have to pass a Concentration check and pay double the power's PP cost, and it ends Remote Viewing.

Look up the Avenger variation to the assassin class and apply that to the psionic assassin class.

They didn't change the class features, just the requirements.

Only problem..

Death attack = need to deal sneak attack damage

Sneak attack = need to be within 30 feet of target. That would be a hard ruleing for a DM...

The power originates from invisible sensor created by the Remote Viewing (or Clairtangent Hand) power, which can be within 30 feet of the target.

Also, I think there's an Assassin spell that removes the range requirement from a sneak attack.

not really...if you used Remote Viewing...notice:
Remote Viewing
Clairsentience (Scrying; see text)
Level: Seer 4
Display: Mental
Manifesting Time: 1 hour
Range: See text
Effect: Quasi-real viewpoint
Duration: 1 min./level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates
Power Resistance: Yes
Power Points: 7, XP

You send your mind across space and dimensions, forming it into a quasireal viewpoint from which you can see and hear some creature located at any distance from you, even if planar boundaries separate you. If the subject succeeds on a Will save, the remote viewing attempt fails, and you can’t attempt to view that creature again for at least 24 hours. The difficulty of the save depends on how well you know the subject and what sort of physical connection (if any) you have to that creature. Furthermore, if the subject is on another plane, it gets a +5 bonus on its Will save.

Knowledge Will Save Modifier
None1 +10
Secondhand (you have heard of the subject) +5
Firsthand (you have met the subject) +0
Familiar (you know the subject well) –5
1 You must have some sort of connection to a creature you have no knowledge of.

Connection Will Save Modifier
Likeness or picture –2
Possession or garment –4
Body part, lock of hair, bit of nail, etc. –10
Subject on another plane +5

If the subject fails its Will save, your mind coalesces a quasi-real viewpoint near enough to the subject to see and hear the subject and its immediate surroundings (up 30 feet in all directions away from the subject).

While the remote viewing lasts, your real body remains unmoving and unaware of your actual surroundings. On the other hand, your quasi-real viewpoint is treated in some ways as if it were an invisible ectoplasmic form of yourself, except as follows. This power is of the Scrying subdiscipline, but use the following information in place of the standard scrying sensor. As a quasi-real viewpoint, you can speak (though your voice is whispery).

You may potentially be sensed by the subject of your viewing (subjects who can see or sense invisible or hidden creatures automatically sense you; otherwise you make a Hide check with a +40 bonus to escape detection if immobile, or a +20 bonus if moving). You could be attacked (although if you become subject to dispel psionics, the remote viewing simply ends). If the subject moves, you can attempt to follow it at a speed of 20 feet, though if it gets farther than 30 feet from you (or you move farther than 30 feet from it), the power ends.

You can attempt to manifest one power through your quasi-real viewpoint, but you must make a Concentration check (DC 20 + level of the power you wish to manifest) to succeed. Manifesting (or attempting and failing to manifest) a power immediately ends the remote viewing.

Furthermore, all powers from your quasi-real viewpoint cost twice the usual number of power points (you can’t exceed the power point limit set by your manifester level, so you are restricted to manifesting lower-level powers than you otherwise could). Power points you spend as a quasireal viewpoint are drained from your real body.

XP Cost: 20 XP.

then manifest Crystal Shard for 2 PP (1d6,no augment...extra cost for Manifesting from Remote view)..to make your Sneak Attack(No Save/No SR-PR)...as CrimsonDeath said
