| Warforged Goblin03-19-07, 01:27 PM | Let's say I'm playing a 7th level fighter who takes one level of psychic warrior. He has a Wisdom score of 16. Does he gain 1 or 8 bonus power points from having a high Wisdom and his class level? |

| Tempest Stormwind03-19-07, 01:52 PM | Let's say I'm playing a 7th level fighter who takes one level of psychic warrior. He has a Wisdom score of 16. Does he gain 1 or 8 bonus power points from having a high Wisdom and his class level? His manifester level is 1 in psychic warrior. That's the key. |
| Warforged Goblin03-19-07, 02:31 PM | Crap, that's what I was afraid of. Thanx folks. |
| Lycanthromancer03-19-07, 07:07 PM | Meh. Get Practiced Manifester from Complete Psionic. You can get a manifester level of 5 right there (but you'd still get screwed on power points, though you might make it through if your Wisdom score was high enough). |
| Thomar_of_Uointer03-20-07, 12:56 AM | Don't worry about it too much. As a level 1 psychic warrior, you're still limited to only one power point per manifestation (barring some oddball things), so you're not missing out on much besides higher-level powers and effects. Psychic warrior is good for a few personal buffs and utility powers, especially ones you can manifest as a swift or immediate action (saving you time for full attacks, check out psionic lion's charge and hustle). Also try out a Deep Impact/Power Attack build. And expansion trumps enlarge person at higher levels. However, psychic warrior really shines if you take full levels in it (form of DOOOOOOM!). As a multiclass psychic warrior, you also have access to djores and power stones of these higher-level powers, and you should take full advantage of those. |
