He is unable to be healed by normal means since he has multiple levels of warforged juggernaught. The description of the Psionic Repair Damage power says "When laying your hands upon a construct that has at least 1 hit point remaining...". I'm thinking that this applies to only objects, and if my warforged frind is "inert" (0 HP), that I should still be able to heal him normally. Is this wrong to assume? Or should I take the power exactly as it is written, since he is after all, just a construct. I'm confused as I don't have the books that explain what his "inert" status entails. Let me know what you folks think. Thanks. |

The XPH was, in fact, written before Eberron and the line of repair x damage spells were. When psionic repair damage was written, all constructs were destroyed (dead) at 0 HP, and thus unable to be repaired back to functionality. You'll have to work it out with your DM as to whether or not he'll allow psionic repair damage to work on an inert warforged. It should work, logically, but that's not what the power says it does. Until your DM OKs it, psionic repair damage can only be used on your warforged buddy while he has 1 or more HP. Even if you can't use it in the sensible-but-not-allowed way, you can always use mundane repair skills to bring the warforged back to 1 first. It's slower, but it works. |
