For example: Psicraft = Spellcraft Use Psionic Device = Use Magic Device Knowledge (psionics) = Knowledge (arcana) I'm not sure what the norm is, I couldn't find any mention in the XPH, but of those I'd be least inclined to merge the knowledge skills, but merging the other two makes a certain amount of sense. |

| CrimsonDeath10-30-07, 08:27 PM | By default, you don't. A lot of DMs merge Psicraft/Spellcraft and Use Magic/Psionic device. A lot don't. I don't know of anyone who merges Knowledge (Arcana) and Knowledge (Psionics). |
| InkBlot10-30-07, 08:40 PM | I did for one game. I used knowledge (supernature), use supernatural device, and supernaturecraft. I know, I know, the names are terrible. Anyway, knowledge (supernature) combined knowledge of all the mystical hubbidy-wubbits in the world. Some other aspects of knowledge (arcana) were moved out to other skills. Knowledge (religion) remained. |
