Skills of Focus: Since you need 10 ranks in 4 skills corrosponding to the 9 disciplines. I suggest the following depending on what discipline of psion you play.

Telepath: Diplomacy, Concentration, Sense Motive, Tumble. (Tumble becomes a class skill for you when you take Martial Study (Desert Wind Manuver) and stays one for all classes. So using the Slayers skill points to keep your Tumble, Concentration and Sense Motives high should be easy with a good Int.) Diplomacy is good for the first 5 levels since, telepaths and warblades get that skill. However when your in your Slayer levels you wont have it so easy, thankfully that one level of Mind Bender will allow you to pump the last 2 skill points into it to get it to 10 ranks.

Nomad: Jump, Concentration, Sense Motive, Intimidate. (Now in a Nomad build, you'd obviously drop Mind Bender and Mind Sight, and take another level of Slayer. Also by replacing Martial Study Burning Blade with Martial Study (Crusader Strike) you'd keep Intimidate a class skill for all future levels and have enough time to bring it up to qualifying level for Master of the 9.)

Egoist: Balance, Concentration, Sense Motive, Intimidate. (For a Egoist, obviously taking metamorphosis is key to your most destructive abilities, and one discipline in particular strikes me as taking full advantage of this and thats the Tiger Claw school, so ranks in jump might be a good idea to do once you actually get into Masters of the 9, but make sure to take some Tiger Claw school manuvers, because nothing says awesome like a 8 Headed Hydra walking over and just before taking a full attack with all 8 heads activates Girallon Windmill Flesh Rip. However to do this little combo, you'd have to op out two levels of your psionic classes for 2 levels of a martial adept class.)

You can do there ones to, just look for corrosponding skills.

Manuver Selecting: The example above uses alot of Diamond Mind manuvers, however it isnt necessarily the best or most flavored Discipline when it comes to representing the Jedi Consular style. You could very well have chosen to focus on using more Iron Heart manuvers, in some cases it might even have served better for representing the jedi fighting style. Ultimately its up to you based on the disciplines the Warblade has available, and of course how you branch out when you enter master of the nine.

Here is another type that is more combat focused. The above is more of a Leader/Diplomat. (Which is great for a General)

Well, both builds look interesting, but don't follow the standard template for builds, instead following (loosely) the template for monsters (pre DMG2).

If you put it in the standard format, it might get more response, as well as what you'd like us to do.

Generic "Jedi"
Human
Warblade 1/Telepath 3/Warblade +3/Slayer 9/Psionic Mindbender 1/Master of the Nine 5

This looks good, actually, though you may want to mix up the levels a bit, perhaps throw Psionic Mindbender in a bit lower in the build so you can get the telepathy quicker. Oh, and the special ability should be "Enemy Sense", not "illithid Sense", as the character is a generic Slayer, not an Illithid Slayer.

As for the "Luke Skywalker" build, it doesn't seem to capture the feel of a farmboy turned jedi, as the build starts with PsiWar, not very farmboy-ish.

Mind Bender? what's that from?

Complete Arcane. It's not actually a psionic prestige class, even though it realy realy realy realy realy realy should have been. The first level gives you telepathy, so a lot of builds take just one level of it.

Actually, the Telepathy discipline works just as well as a base class, if not better (you don't lose manifester/spellcaster levels when taking it). Plus, you don't have to worry about qualifying for the PrC, as the Telepath is a base class hehe

I think you're confusing things. The first level of the mindbender class gives you Telepathy (Su).

Telepathy (Su): A creature with this ability can communicate telepathically with any other creature within a certain range (specified in the creature’s entry, usually 100 feet) that has a language. It is possible to address multiple creatures at once telepathically, although maintaining a telepathic conversation with more than one creature at a time is just as difficult as simultaneously speaking and listening to multiple people at the same time.

Some creatures have a limited form of telepathy, while others have a more powerful form of the ability.

Personally, I think the Psychic Rogue makes an almost perfect Jedi, if you sub in bonus feats for the sneak attack, like the variant for the normal rogue in Unearthed Arcana.

The thing about the Mind Bender is that it has an Adaption option for DM's that allows you to change the Prestige Class into a Psionic one, the one im mentioning above is just that, its the Psionic Adaption of the Prestige Class in question, hence it is even better for a Psion with the Telepathy discipline as the first level of it gives you a +1 to Manifester level as well as 100ft Telepathy.
