03-19-07, 01:18 PM Does anybody know of D&D websites with psionics material? I'm googling for sites like that and I'm having a hard time coming up with anything other than book reviews and online shops.

I have a little at http://www.Racinante.com/ and I plan to add more. Unfortunately, expanding the site is not high on my priority list, although I am looking at adding random generation of Psions of levels 1-20 to the site relatively soon.

03-19-07, 02:19 PM http://www.athas.org has about a dozen new powers and three or four new psionic prestige classes.

One of the prestige classes is designed to replace the monk base classes, but it seems like it will work fine in a standard campaign as well. Another prestige class is designed to replace the soulknife base class, and seems to do a good job of fixing the problems people have had with the soulknife base class, but you wouldn't want to have both the prestige class and the base class available in the same game. Both these classes were made into prestige classes because they can easily overcome the lack of decent metal weaponry on Athas.

About half of the new powers are designed to overcome the difficulties of living in a harsh desert. For example, there is the power to precipitate water from the air around you. These can still be situationaly useful in a standard campaign, but there are other powers in Athas.org's PDF that would be more useful in everyday adventures. For example, there is the power to make a second jump at the apex of your first jump, the power to track people by their brainwaves, and the power to descern a person's allegiances by the colour of her aura.

03-20-07, 08:04 AM There used to be the 3rd Eye page, where folks created new psi material - or updated 3.0 Mind's Eye material, but that site sort of went poof and some of the folks from it posted that material here instead.

I haven't really seen a real "psionics" site aside from those already mentioned.

As I ran the 3rd Eye, I have all the material saved somewhere. If there is a large call for it, I may update it to 3.5 and compile it into a PDF and offer it for download, or, I recently began going through my old Psionics notebooks (all 5 five-subject notebooks) and compiling it into a wiki at http://psiproject.pbwiki.com/.

A lot of the material is new, as I've had a brainstorm the last few months.

I'll add the site to my sig.

To all those who remember, it's nice to be remembered. And now, it's time to get back in the game.

03-23-07, 07:17 AM That's right - The Eye. I get confused sometimes. I posted stuff at 3rd Eye, here on the boards, and for The Mind's Eye, and I ran The Eye.

Thanks for jogging the old brain cells. I need to feed the hamster up there more often.

I'm trying to bring it back, with a little help. That's why it's called "v3.5 Psionics Project".
