I've been trying to improve my understanding of psionics and have recently gone through the Minds Eye articles. My player and I are wondering how good the Psychic Meditation feat is. Does anyone have actual play experience with it? I'm also thinking that some of the bonuses from awakening a psychic energy center arent't that good, in that they do not scale. A flat bonus seems counter to psionics where most everything scales. If I allow this, I'm thinking of tying all the benefits to manifester levels that scales as you go up in ML. Bertman |

It really depends on what you're trying to do with your build. The +3 natural armor is very nice for nonmanifesters, and as a manifester the temporary power points and mental ability boosts are okay (nothing you can't do already). I would compare it to Expanded Knowledge, it comes down to a choice between a 1/day powerful effect that you have to prepare, or just another power. |
